  1. Still waiting on mine to ship *shrug*.
  2. I don't think I have that kind of patience now, much less when I was 10. Nice job!

    YetiStand Alpha.

I've already started planning which toys to put on which of this second batch of Yeti stands. So many possibilities.
  4. All the cool kids are buying it
  5. I just can't justify buying this. I have the Yammie version with the sound booster. And I like the colors on mine better than the red/gold on this one. I would love to have the little figures, but not for that much money. I'd love to buy some more M7 stuff though.

    Sooooo coooolll
  7. Yeah, I agree, I would be shocked if there weren't new "Valkyries" or Destroids for them to sell toys of to all of those suckers who buy them. (Hey, I can call you all suckers, cause I'm a sucker too ).

Awesome. I so want to put my Max/Millia on a stand and have them back to back in fighter mode!!!
  9. Maybe down the road when the license is opened up to more than just Bandai and a few Hasegawa models we will see more cool toys and kits from Arcadia, Wave, etc. We can only hope .
  10. Comparing to the Yuan is probably valid. These toys are still all made in China, correct?
  11. In my mind, it's just not Macross without variables fighters and singing. Or at least singing is important after the original TV series. Honestly I like the music from almost all of the series. Even Zero has some really good non-vocal songs. Maybe Delta will be full Artifically Intelligent transforming fighters that reach self awareness and sing!!! And they all go on a hunt throughout the universe looking for Basara! Because robots should sing too .
  12. Hurray! I hope they bring Basara into the story (runs and hides)
  13. I thought I saw somewhere that you can't sell items required for quests? Yes, you can sell items you pick up in the open areas, but you could always just go get them again. Now if you sold blue prints, I'm not so sure you could get those again.
  14. Yeah, SchizophrenicMC is correct, I just use Dielectric grease because I have it, but any silicone grease should work.
  15. I agree, I ordered several of these and built one. I can't even begin to count the number of hours I spent putting on decals. And I had trouble applying several of them, mostly due to my lack of experience . But yeah, tons of parts. I don't recall using glue at all, but there are certain pieces where it would help, but it's not required. I would get back into model building with something easier .
  16. Unless the teflon coating has worn off. On car parts, I like to use Dielectric Grease to lubricate rubber parts, o-rings, etc. My understanding is that is is safe for rubber, unlike a lot of other types of grease.
  17. I would think baking soda would work well as a filler too, hell sawdust would work . But yeah, sanding CA would not be fun. I haven't built any of my resin kits yet, I'm still scared .
  18. Pulled the trigger on it at HLJ. At least I have a few months to save up. I still don't quite see how these are almost twice the cost of the original VF-0's that Yamato released. But I will admit that my Yamato VF-0s are among my favorite to display, I'm not quite sure why.
  19. I bought one of the stirrers, great tool to have around. http://www.amazon.com/Badger-Air-Brush-Co-121-Paint/dp/B000BROV02/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413378672&sr=8-1&keywords=badger+paint+stirrer Although I will say that when stirring Mr Color, you can hear it bog down a little bit. But it is battery powered, so it's not really a big surprise.
  20. So about how much of a flash time do you guys use between coats? 10 minutes or so? Is there a maximum beyond which you would need to scuff the surface lightly and start over?
  21. I can't draw at all, but it is neat to watch how you drew those! Thanks for sharing!
  22. Those aren't lips, those are sunglasses! And is it just me, or does the Rau look like a fencing mask sort of? I'm not sure why it makes me think of that exactly because I know it's different...but.
  23. For my toys on display, I probably have about: 50% fighter 30% gerwalk 20% battroid 110% awesome! I would not say that I dislike any mode in particular. I am actually quite fond of gerwalk mode. Sometimes it depends on the toy. Some of them I think look terrible in certain modes.
  24. I always took it as a combination of being oblivious and him just focusing on his bigger goals with his music. And, yeah, I agree with Sketchley here, he did generally ignore the opposite sex, or at least not pay any extra attention to them. His attention seemed to turn mostly when someone started to understand him.
  25. More pictures!! I want to see that kit .
