Just got my mecha box Saturday. I'm still impressed. My brother checked it out and he was awed by how nice it was. If I had the means/space, I'd definately display on some sort of rotating display its so nice. I'm eagerly anticipating the Mac+ box. I like the new 19/21 pic, but I wish it were more colorful. Definately want to see the Mac+ pyramid symbol on the box, its a must. IMHO I feel as if Mac+ is all about the 19 and 21. The story and characters are really secondary to me. I'd like to see 19/21 pic on one of the sides or top. Even with all I've said, Newtest 1 is the design I like the best so far. I'll still pick up a box set even if there's no 19/21 pic on it, but I would really like to see it on the box somewhere. I know you its hard to find the right kind of pics that can be used. F-16 had always been my favorite fighter plane. I dunno, I just like the design, especially the underbody intake (which is why I'm also a fan of the Eurofighter, Rafale, Mig-29, and the various Flankers). The Japanese variants/upgrades of their F-16s were especially cool looking in the concept art I've seen, though I haven't see what the real life production ones look like. Anyone have any links??? V-22 Osprey, god, that thing is still in testing and development? I figured it'd be in full scale production and deployment by now. Eurofighter vs Rafale, I like how the Rafale looks better than the Eurofighter, but I think the Eurofighter is the better plane.

Cool. It looks to me like the design is based off of the Typhoon class nuclear sub, which is already pretty big in itself. I'm interested in seeing more stats and stuff about the sub, like if it uses overtechnology or not. I'm guessing it should at least have two torpedo tubes for self-defense.

Nice, nice, first the custom boxes and now this. As much as I liked the Animeago design, it is kinda blurry and understated. A newer design, especially with Mikimoto art and other stuff would be awesome. I'm in on this as well.

Sweet, the boxes are both looking just great. I knew these months of design and fabrication would pay off in the end. Thanks again to all involved for bringing this to fruition.

Pretty cool. The head in battroid mode doesn't look right to me, somethings is off about it. Otherwise its looks sweet. Waiting on how it will look painted.

I'd pick up a DYRL DVD from HG only if it was remastered with good subs and lots of extras.

Nice Haterist. I'm gonna have to try this out. Those darn floppy arms drove me nuts ever since I got the F/Ps. I tried to leave my 1/48 w/o the FPs but it just wasn't right to do that to the valk.

Good idea, just won't work in the real world.

Hello everyone here on the MW Boards. I've been looking at a new anime series to watch and Saiyuki came up as one I might be into. I know its based on the Journey to the West Chinese Folktale. I wanted to know what the show is like and any thoughts/opinions on the series. Thanks, Phil

Pitch Black was better than I thought it would be. I'll probably end up going to see Riddick if there's nothing better to do. I'm definately not going in with high expectations.

Smokescreen was definately a challenge to transform. I had bought one before work and when I got to work, I had about a half-hour before I had to punch in. I figured 30 minutes would be plenty of time. Definately took me the whole 30 minutes to transform and then hap-hazzardly transform it back to car mode. The instructions weren't all to clear either. Also, I'm having trouble with the YF-21, actually, I'm just afraid of breaking something. So I'm just leaving it in fighter mode, which looks coolest anyway. The VF-11B wasn't too bad, but a little tricky.

In both the Tv-Series and DYRL, I do feel bad for Minmay because she loses Hikaru to Misa, especially in DYRL. I mean, I get all misty-eyed evertime I watch DYRL being th bleeding heart that I am (aside from the it being a nice condensation of the SDF Macross story and the beautiful animation). I was glad to see Minmay bounce back from all that and go on in FB2012.

The MacrossWorld.com logo is nice, I like it. The Mac+ designs are looking good as well. Can't say for sure if there is a particular Mac+ design I like best though.

I don't follow comic books much, but I do check out the artwork alot and I definately think Alex Ross is just plain awesome. I'm not into the body-builder Superman look, I just don't think it fits the character right. On a side note, I have no problem with Kyle Raynor, but he's just no Hal Jordan.

I have been thinking about getting a tiger stripe type job done, like the F-4 ace scheme or the F-15E ace scheme in Ace Combat 4.

I want to see a series set between after the launching of the Megaroad-1 and before events of Mac+. I could definately go for a story based from M3 with Max and Millia and the Dancing Skulls. Anything where I can see the VF-4, VF-9, variable glaug, and Konig Monster, PLEASE !!!!!

Nice, I may have to pick the box set up, as soon as get around to finishing the TV series that is. Man, I've had the HK boots for a year now and haven't gotten anywhere with the series. Don't get me wrong, I love what I've seen so far from the series.

Nice, nice, but I'm gonna wait and see how the other modes look before I commit myself. Generally, toys that transform are cooler than toys that don't transform, but with something like the Monster, I want something solid, hefty, and sturdy. No floppy monster Yamato. I would definately like to see Yamato do some other more obscure valks (VF-4 baby!!!!).

I'm glad to hear the TV-series box is about to go into production. I like what I'm seeing with the Mac+ boxes, will have to look over all designs, but each one looks interesting to me. I hope someone will try to work with the cg 19/21 pic, I'd really like to see that on one side of the box. Anyway, keep them designs coming

Ai Oboete Imasuka is my top song that I relate to Macross and DYRL; I agree with both isamu and wolfx about the whole image of Minmay singing on the bridge and Hikaru in the VF-1S saluting before the final assault on Bodolza.

I got the version seventh-moon linked. Mine has no problems, it plays just fine.

yo, I remeber this show, it was pretty awesome. I liked how the robot would have a whole gaggle of guns and weapons pop out of its chest.

I just always figured that once they built the Megaroad-class ships, they just abandoned the Macross-class ships because the Megaroads were larger, more powerful, and better design. Just my two cents.
