Man, after reading this post I'm so glad I got my 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru off Soze's buddy for the list price. The prices for 1/48s are getting crazy. I never imagined the 1/48 prices would go Low-Vis crazy.

I'm thinking about getting the game now while its available in quantity; even though my brother hasn't modded his PS2 yet and I'm not living at home at the moment. Those are just details I'll take care of later . Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone knew of a good site to pick up the game from. I googled and have so far checked out the following sites: NCSX buyritegames lik-sang Play-Asia lik-sang looks like the best deal because of the free worldwide shipping. also found a couple copies on ebay. I just wanted to know if anyone knows any other good/reputable import game sites and/or if anyone has bought from any of the places I linked above.

I knew there was something funky about the Toynami Blazing Sword. It looks more like the Vehicle Voltron sword. Overall, it looks nice, but I'll be waiting on a review before I throw money at Toynami.

I would since I live right here in Camarillo, but I have work all weekend. I'll probably see it next year or so. I found out about it too late to take a day off.

Official Transformers Alternators and more thread.

hey Anubis, why do you have to go and rub in my face that you have a Dead End and I don't? just kidding, not like you can read minds, or can you? . Anyway, I'm just mad at myself for not getting Dead End when I saw it. I picked Hound from the local Wal-Mart and after getting it home decided what the hell, Dead End paintjob is pretty cool, and I need some Decepticons. I go back to find them all out except for Hounds. And the next closest Wal-Mart is a 30 minute drive, whats up with that? I have 3 Tagets within a 10 minute drive from my house, but the next closest Wal-Mart is 30 muntes away? I must live in Target country. Another question, the Decepticon Alternators are just gonna be repaints of whatever Autobots they make, correct? Cuz then I might wait to see what the Decepticon version of Tracks will look like (though his being blue might be alright). Sorry, just needed to rant a little. -
Nice, that sounds pretty cool, especially the wingman feature and the improved AI. Its good to see countermeasures in the game as well. AMRAAMs should have a min. range, its a BVR weapon, not dogfighting. Question, how's the plane damage, same as AC4 with a limit of how many hits you can take? Does damage affect the planes handling or anything like that? I hope to see cooler ground attack missions, some crazy nap of earth flying especially.

I finally found Alternator Hound yesterday at the Walmart in Oxnard, CA. I checked every Target in the Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura area, but only found Smokescreens and Sideswipes. When I finally got to the Walmart, lo and behold, they had a Silverstreak, 2-3 Deadends and 2-3 Hounds. I will definately be hitting up Walmart first for all my TF Alternator needs from now on. -
I hate to be so wishy-washy, but now after like a month of looking at BoBe-Patt's Sharon/Desert Spine, I find that I like the old, plain, Isamu Desert Spine better. Either way, I'll still be picking up a DVD case, but I just wanted to throw my $.02 back in to the conversation.
-
nice, I like the cockpit pics, I like the schematic pics as well, man, now I can't decide . Both are looking good to me right now.
-
Nice Bobe-Patt, that's what I'm talking about.
-
I like the Sharon/Desert spine, it's really nice. The red eye does disrupt the flow of the overall pic though. I'd like to see if someone could have the Sharon pic and maybe the eye blend into the background sky more. Like color the Sharon pic the same color as the background sky.

1/1 LowViz Lurker, your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter . Actually nice job with your control scheme description.

VF-1SOL-S (from Scrambled Valkyrie)
Smiley424 replied to Aurel Tristen's topic in Movies and TV Series
nice pic of the valk from the Scramble Valkyrie SNES. I always found the valk design in that game to be a little off, but close to the standard VF-1. now that I look at them and compare it to the VF-0, very similar looking. -
just so you guys know, Tour of Duty is out on DVD now, season 1 anyway. Actually it came out last month I want to say, I remember shelving it at work. A good series about the Vietnam War.

Mega Man Anniversary Collection Released!
Smiley424 replied to mikeszekely's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Its a solid disc for any megaman fan out there. I bought it for my brother cuz he loves the original megaman games on NES. Also, we've both gotten lazy with regards to getting old NES games to work (spoiled, I know ). -
Cool, nice pics of the Gripen. The F-14 on the F/A-18's six pic is sweet. I've been looking at different screens in different game mags and have seen some planes that look like B-52s, nice. I wonder if you can choose what type of planes your wingmen fly and maybe even there weapons load. That would be nice.

Man, between the desert and sharon spines, I can't decide. I like the idea of trying to splice the sharon shot into the desert shot. Maybe have Sharon blend in to the sky more, like be more shadowy and in the background, not so vibrant and in your face. Maybe I'm asking too much, but I think that would look hot. I'll be keeping an eye on how the desert/sharon spine develops. Also, after looking over the last couple mockups, the sides definately look a bit cluttered with the battroid pics thrown in.
-
nice, nice, I like how its coming out. Will be definately watching for when this will come out.
-
I like the last design with the little battroids in the corners. That and the blue Sharon pic is pretty hot. Nicely done Anubis.

They definately need to liven up the ground attack missions. The general strike missions are fine, but the close air support missions need to be more dynamic. I want to see my bombing have an effect on the ground battle below. In missions like Whiskey Corridor, the only real reason to go after all the ground targets was so I could get S ranking on the mission. Also, with the screenshots of the Growler Super Hornet variant, I'd like to see some crazy Wild Weasel missions, going in to take out enemy SAM and radar sites before the B-52s come rolling in for a strike. Come on Namco, if you're gonna have the Tu-95 Bear in AC4, give some props to the BUFF, its still flying bombing missions to this day and will until 2040 if I'm not mistaken.
-
yeah, its the same as the pin point barrier system used by the SDF-1 in the Macross TV series, only developed for use on a valkyrie
-
I agree with Blaine, the lineart 19 and 21 is really growing on me and the Mac+ logo on top would be tight. That definately needs to be blue. I like the Isamu desert spine, but I'm open to seeing if anyone can come up with other images that can be used too.
-
oops, i forgot to say that I like just the mac+ logo on top. its just nice and simple
-
I like 1 and 5 the best. 4 is okay, but i don't need to have isamu and guld on both sides.
-
the sculpt looks okay, but I will definately have to see this sucked up close and personal before I even consider paying $150 for this. definately needs to have alot of diecast parts for that price, plus all the lion add on weapons, mouth sword things for each individual lion, as well as blazing sword and the throwing star thingy too.
