Nice, looks like the 1/48 GBP is coming together pretty nicely. I especially like the hands.

So I've been without internet for like 1-2 months and I come back to this ! Awesome work Rohby, that JM is really nice, especially with the fastpacks. I thought all I had to really needed to buy this year was the 1/48 GBP, but now I think I might have to spring for at least one of these. Awesome job again Rohby.

Star Wars Episode 3 Spoilers Thread

Revenge of the Brick was great, I loved it !!! -
I like the show and was sorry to see it get cancelled. I plan to pick up the DVD sometime and I'm psyched about this movie now.

yeah, definately not as cool as the stop-motion spidey using all legos. also, the spidey one was cool but goofy and fun. the batman one seems more serious, which is a misuse of Adam West because Adam West = Campy Batman. "I never needed molded plastic to enhance my physique; Pure. . . West"

If you all care, Champloo Vol. 2 just dropped yesterday.

yeah, like that Star Trek episode where two planets were at war for hundreds of years and used computers to calculate casualties and stuff and had the people deemed "killed" report to death chambers to die. back to topic, its a pretty cool looking piece of machinery

i recall at one point certain companies refusing licensing rights because they fear that when for example a transformer changes to robot form, the bumper has to split to form the feet. Their fear is that they don't want to misconstrue that the bumper on their cars actually splits - fear that customers would think certain parts of a transformer that comes off will actually come off on the real car. it's silly - it's like MPOP's smoke stacks being shortened because of fear of poking your eye out. edit to add: besides that, i remember companies like porche and ferrari rarely licensing their name brand out (they had that issue in Gran turismo 2). Too snotty perhaps? yeah, alot of car companies won't liscense their vehicles in games where the cars can be damaged or destroyed (i.e. Burnout series). Though, the bumper splitting on a toy equals a bumper splitting on the actual car is just ridiculous .

I do not have one installed as it only works currently on the older big PS2 consoles and not the new slim versions! My friend has one installed and you can use any hard drive, can also be old ones from your old PC! My brother was telling me that people are working on connecting a HD to the new slim PS2s through the USB ports.

Cross over comic movies won't be happenning on the Marvel side of movies because of the way Marvel sells the characters and stories to different studios. Blade is under New Line, Spider-Man is with Sony/Columbia, Daredevil/Elektra X-Men and FF4 is with Fox, etc. DC on the other is all WB, so its possible to see cross over comic movies from DC (like the rumored Superman vs. Batman movie), so a JLA movie is a easier proposition than say a Spider-Man/Daredevil movie. This is also the reason that DC comic movies have kind of stagnated, though I have have all kinds of high hoped for Batman Begins and the new Superman. I feel like Venom/Carnage is just a little too out there for the way the current Spider-Man universe is set up in my opinion. I'd like the see Harry in a a redesigned Goblin suit or just straight up as Hobgoblin (no power ranger mask, a cowl cape deally). Lizard is a given as they've already set it up. I'm open to any other of Spidey's villians, though I like Electro or Scorpion in particular. On a side note, I agree about the first movie and the Mary Jane/Gwen Stacy death scene. They could've worked Gwen into the first movie and then develop the Peter Parker/MJ relationship in 2 and 3. Throwing in Black Cat in 3 would be a nice little love triangle ( and we love our love triangles here at MacrossWorld ). My inner geek has been released !!!!!

It's all about giving young kids attainable goals today . Kids will think that if they hate their parents and are full of angst, one day the gov't or some secret organization will give them a giant robot to pilot and save the world . Anyway, I still think this a crutch that is holding back anime and keeping it stereotyped as childish and kiddie Side note, the mecha designs I find interesting and I'm a sucker for combining robots into bigger robots, so I'll see where this series goes. -
Pioneer/Geneon is slowly releasing the series on DVD. Volume 1 with first 4 episodes is out now, volume 2 is due out at the end of March.

Me neither, but the Captain seems hell bent on getting us PT two seaters. Hey, don't fault the guy for pursuing perfection!! true, all true, if we get PT two seaters, awesomely outrageous . If not, we're still getting two seater valks. And always remember, be it Captain Mo, Cap'N Crunch, or our esteemed Captain America, you and the Captain make it happen!

since I don't own Bebop yet, I'll probably look into this new set. I knew that they'd probably release a new set with DTS and all that. Now I'm waiting to see a new Trigun release.

Aircraft VS super thread!

That's an awfully myoptic viewpoint. There was never anything wrong with the 109 per se, it was just horribly out of date by the war's end. It, like the Stuka, was a antique 1930's design fighting a 1940's war. But remember that when the german Blitzkrieg began in '39, many of its rivals were still flying biplanes. yeah, the only reason the 109 stayed in production for so long was because Hitler had a good relationship with Willie Messerschmitt and prefered the sleek lines of the Me-109 to the radial engine FW-190
