Great episode! To me it seemed like the show was coasting the past 2 episodes (15 & 16) but now it looks like everything is moving forward again. They really got me with this episode, I was almost ready to open a bottle of Haterade when the end seemed to line up to a T with Pineapple Salad from SDF:M. Glad to see they didn't go that route. It also makes sense as this is the future and all; it'll take more than that to kill Ozma! Even Brera couldn't take him out, in the dark no less!

Just got finished unboxing and transforming my VF-1S Focker 2.0. Overall, I love it! The proportions are very nice, makes my 1/48 feel chunky, the 1/60 seems more sleek overall. I love all the tampo and improvements. Had no real problems with transformation, just had to check the instructions on how the swingarm fits into the nose in battroid mode. I really like the 1S head, near perfect IMO with no seam running down the middle. The head being detachable is a plus, I was always wary of bending or snapping the head lasers when transforming the 1/48, but now I can just take off the head and not worry. Only two minor gripes. I don't like how the arms kinds float there in battroid mode, but I guess it always for more poses. As long as it doesn't become a floppy mess down the road. Second, as someone mentioned before, the eyepiece on the head is a very dark green. I though it was black until closer inspection.

Oh my God, I didn't know Michael Turner just passed?!? I read/collect comics regularly but I don't keep up with all the news. Turner is one of my top five favorite artists. I always try to pick up his variant covers if they aren't too overpriced. He will be missed! I currently collect some Marvel and DC titles, but I think I'm gonna start cutting some titles out. Between the two, I find myself less interested in Marvel. I started during House of M and every Marvel event since had left me disappointed. House of M, Civil War, World War Hulk, all seem to just end with nothing really happening or changing in the 616 universe. I may just drop all my 616 titles altogether. It depends on how Secret Invasion plays out. I do love the Cosmic Marvel stuff right now though. Annihilation and Annihilation Conquest were pretty good as well as Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy. Rocket Raccoon ftw!

Official Fallout 3 website Just decided to resurrect the thread as I just found the website is fully running. Lots of cool stuff, has that fallout feel to it. Trailer also available. Looks pretty cool. Since I'll be getting a new computer soon, I'm looking forward to this game now that I can play it. Trailer on youtube anyone else looking forward to this incarnation of fallout?

can someone make a wallpapers from the formation flying scenes at the end of Episode 16? The one with Skull Squadron flying and the Konig Monster rising through the clouds is SICK !!! It's ruined by the Sankyo ad though. I would also like a wallpaper of the end catch from episode 16, with the Konig Monster and Ozma's VF-25S.

I'm already on board for season 2 as I liked season 1, but I would be totally stoked if they did one episode in chibi form like the trailer, but kept all the serious dialogue

Nice, I should be playing this sometime mid August. Looking for a new laptop and have my eye on the Gateway 7811FX. Somehow Bioware has been able to get me to either upgrade my PC or buy a game system to play their RPGs. Can't wait.

Just watched the Lunar subs. Decent episode, I gave it a positive. Overall, it seem like the pace of the show is slowing down; not sure if I like that. I didn't like the reused animations for the battle scenes, but that's how it goes it seems. Loved the development of the Sheryl - Alto - Ranka triangle. I really feel for Sheryl, she was on top of the world and now she's all but forgotten. I curious to see how she handles this setback. Maybe she'll go bonkers like a real life former pop diva The little bits like the scene between Alto and Sheryl in his room and seeing Ranka doubt what she's doing made the episode for me. Hey Luca, grow a pair and let Nanase know how you really feel I don't want no cliche deathbed confession or anything so melodramatic. I was also stoked that the Konig Monster got so much screen time and love the pinup girl nose art. Bandai, I want one of those! Also, what was up with all that formation flying in the previews and such not being in the episode at all ???

I liked episode 15. A little clipshow action and then some Alto - Ranka - Sheryl development. The Ranka Sheryl duet was a nice touch. A nice pick up from episode 14, which I thought was a bit lackluster. This episode confirms my suspicions of Sheryl being a "manufactured" pop icon (literally and figuratively). Hmm, maybe Leon, Grace, et el are the Protoculture and after all these millennium are trying to take over the cosmos once again.

I'm sorry to say that I gave this episode a neutral vote as i felt the good parts cancelled out the bad parts. Alto arrived on the scene way too quickly for my tastes. He was using the prototype fold pack but arrived before the Valjra baseship and flanking force even though he left after the Vajra folded (though I guess the Vajra could have been waiting for the right moment to defold behind the Frontier fleet). I assume the battle was going on for a while (couple hours) before Alto arrived, but you couldn't tell from the way the episode flowed. I was expecting the battle to be epic but their was no Monster action, Pixie Squadron action, or Ozma action to be had. I was hoping to see Luca finally do something with his Ghosts, but again he's taken down (I don't want him to be Kakizaki-lite but that looks like how he's gonna be portrayed). The real bright spot in the episode was NUNS Diamond Squadron showing the NUNS are not all canon fodder. I've been waiting for NUNS to show that they can do something against the Vajra. That was a nice sequence with Machida and the barrier fist punch. Hey Bandai, where's my VF-171? I did like the bits and pieces of the larger conspiracy/future conflict given in the episode. Sheryl is going to be used/manipulated somehow to further Grace-Leon-Brera's plans. I hope more is revealed about Sheryl and how she is involved in all of this. I think she is a failed Vajra-Human hybrid while Ranka is what Grace's group has been searching for.

Just watched the episode a second time. I thought it was pretty good. The Alto Ranka relationship deepens, but Sheryl isn't going down without a fight I like how the WTF-1 Global was presented; homages to SDF:M for us older fans with minimal retcon of the series. Looks to me like Ranka has one of those purple crystals implanted into her body whereas Sheryl has the earrings. This is my explanation for why Ranka seems to influence the Vajra whereas Sheryl does not. I was a little disappointed to see how badly Alto fares against Brera, but then again, Alto is still pretty raw when it comes to piloting a valk. Also, Brera's VF-27 seems to have a BDS type system and the dude is a cyborg. Either way, next episode will be EPIC and the Brera - Alto showdown will be just as epic.

Of all of the songs to come out of Macross Frontier, I really dig "Infinity", the intro just hooks me in and it doesn't let me go until the end of the song. Ranka's rendition of "What 'bout my star?" is my second favorite song. The only song I've heard that just doesn't agree with me is "Welcome to my fanclubs night". On a side note, I added 2 CDs worth of Macross music into the music rotation at my restaurant. A mix of instrumentals and vocals from Macross, Macross Plus, and Macross Frontier. It's a Japanese Steakhouse which is very convenient and I'm sick of all the piano renditions of love song mixes that my aunt put in the system. Makes work just that more enjoyable

Just watched the episode and loved it. Love all the homages to SDF:M. I wasn't expecting Ranka to come with Michel, I was expecting Michel and Alto to tear the rogue Zents a new one, but the way the episode played out with Ranka being able to end the conflict peacefully was nicely done IMO. The Alto and pseudo Kamjin fight was ok, though Alto pulled a killer move to get the Zent and it looks like he'll be back to fight with Alto in the future (I hope). The appearance of the supposed SDF-1 at the end was the first real surprise in the series for me. I am eagerly awaiting the next episode so we can get the lowdown on this "Macross".

Just watched the episode and loved it. There was no mecha action, but I didn't notice I was so enthralled with the episode. The way the love triangle between Alto, Sheryl, and Ranka keeps developing has me hooked. I really liked the nods to DYRL and use of Macross Zero as the movie within the movie was great. The plot continues to thicken in regards to Brera (I'm going with brother from destroyed research fleet working for unnamed 3rd party) Leon and mystery person (I'm going with Grace; How come she isn't with Sheryl during the filming of the movie when it seems she doesn't leave Sheryl's side except the time Sheryl snuck out the find Alto?). I wonder if there will be more connections made to Macross Zero or if S.K. just used it because is was the most recent OVA? I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last we here of Macross Zero in the rest of the series. Oh, Nanase was looking mighty fine in her Nyan Nyan uniform and Sheryl was no slouch. Nice

serious, if it was done like a track jacket, I'm in for one. some nice Macross Frontier cosplay there and I always appreciated Macross fans showing their love of Macross by singing its music.

right now i'm watching the AiA, Shinsen and Lunar subs. Lunar for their high quality picture and okay subs. AiA because they usually come out pretty quick and their subs are okay. I like Shinsen subs the best overall but get all 3 so I have an excuse to watch an episode multiple times Chihiro seems to be a new group doing Macross Frontier and I found their subs to be okay and downloaded their episode 9 because it was the first sub available.

Pretty good episode with some action and background on Michel and some more bits of the coming conflict. Looks like Miss Grace is not just a mild mannered agent/handler of Sheryl, she's got ulterior motive. Interesting that in the intro she's paired up with Leon. Could they be part of the mysterious 3rd party with Brera? Her ability to hack into Frontier's computer system seems a bit much if she's just Sheryl's agent. Perhaps having Sheryl coming to Frontier is all part of their master plan (mass hypnosis or something of the like) with Sheryl. Nice to see Alto go toe to toe with Brera and hold his own. So . . . Sheryl seems pretty flexible . . . NICE I may have to change my sig after that one
