  1. Moved the ninja borg and reposed him... Every time I work with this figure, I'm amazed at how well articulated it is. Trying to get a flying dragon vibe, jumping off the ray. Aquarion is a bonus.
  2. Sweet! Watching this to see how it all pans out. Bummer on the STL files, but I get it... Would've put my resin printer to work on this one stat. Have you considered pitching this on Backerkit or similar option? Depending on how you structure it, the 2-seater variant could be a stretch goal option, etc...
  3. I did. Came together beautifully despite being one of the more challenging transformations for me. Sadly, the black stand it came with introduced me to the true meaning of "Bandai Explodium." I was able to salvage most of it, but the stand is d-u-n. Maybe I can fill out the warranty card and get a replacement? 😛
  4. Joints are not great, but not as terrible as some reviews. I had no problems with it except the feet sliding on the base. It's got decent weight geared up - could use ratcheting joints here or there. "Belly" joint is a little lose. Yeah, I was shopping Sentinel's and saw one of these at a great price. What could possibly go wrong? Very pleased and the savings let me jump on another great deal.
  5. Thank you, sir! Here's the latest addition to the family, chilling with his older brother and his brother from another mother, Metal Beard.
  6. Gold Bear XG-01 Sahelanthropus. I didn't have much trouble with it at all. Everything just worked on it for me. Lucky me!
  7. Finally decided to whip these out... Childhood memories... All CIBs in fantastic shape. More to come. I may limit what's up there by $$$ value, but they're all important to me. Figured they're toy enough for this thread.
  8. Passed by the Lego Store... this was too cool to pass up... My build backlog is almost like my Steam library.
  9. I really enjoyed it. Amazon did a fantastic job.
  10. Here are the new cases, all of these are newly posed/placed in here. Motion sensors, programmable RGB lights, the rear is a curtain light. Some is still a work in progress. The random Shenron is my tribute to Akira Toriyama. He sits up above them all in there. Gate's drone is in there, somewhere if you want to play where's Waldo.
  11. Anubis up... needs more tweaks but good enough for now. Glad the mounting solutions are working as intended.
  12. That's unfortunate to hear... I don't think it's an issue, but from what you've heard/seen do you think periodic exposure to this much light cause potential issues? Here's Jehuty in the case for example... Working on Anubis in a few minutes and I'll post him. Then snag a group/case shot for the display thread sharing the new cases I made.
  13. These arrived today. I've waited a long time to snag this Anubis. Got it and Jehuty NIB.
  14. Thanks for the idea, that's helpful, but I'll likely level it up and put my resin printer to work. Color matching is likely to be a pain, but not impossible. I could just buy another one that's complete. My hope was that someone had encountered this and already had files. Still waiting to hear back from the seller just in case it was knocked off in packing. It was there in the images before I snagged it. I appreciate you!
  15. Ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-crooooooooo Comboooooooo Brrrrrrrrreakerrrrrrrr!!! DX Monster owners out there - I can't be the only one missing/lacking a butt flap. Anyone find a solution over the years for replacements? Butt flaps, and random black hole sun pic we took during the eclipse today:
  16. Yes, it's gorgeous, but could use some help. Tragically, one of the rear stabilizers is missing on the right side :(. Doubt anyone has a spare =/.
  17. Paid in full today. ShowZ was much less expensive for me. Shipping is free and I had around 39-40 bucks in points just sitting around. Keep debating on if I should do their premium membership. Excited for this Eva. It looks spectacular.
  18. Toy box in a display case. Got this one super cheap NIB. He was an impulse buy, price was too good. These are the new cases. Will share once the most recent coup de graces appear.
  19. Thank you! That is the SoC GX-80 Neo Nautilus from the Secret of Blue Water
  20. Right? That's been my main draw/childlike wonder on these. I wanted to capture the human element, armor aspect, and still retain the clear line of the bike... This was my janky way of doing it where from the side you clearly see the bike, but head-on you can see the bike is coming apart to "envelope" the rider mid-air. I think all the kibble from the super sylph gets in the way so I may move Gate elsewhere. I think it'll make more sense once I get Master Chief's ride armor and display it beside Gate fully transformed. Thanks for being nice and not pointing out that the Bike looks like a monster about to eat the rider :P.
  21. Got my Gate in yesterday... Tried something different on the pose. Not sure if I got it though. Her drone is elsewhere, but that's for an upcoming update. Once other stuff gets in. Managed to score one of my personal grail items from long ago.
  22. Let's be real though... "Doomcock" sounds like what an 8-year-old Forknife griefer would name themselves. Live-action joke aside, I'm happy this is real and that Macross finally has a home on these shores. Any increased exposure should have a positive impact on the value of our collections and future availability of product.
