I'm in it for the deco. And to see how well this compares to the KC version.

Mine is simply from a low lighting pic of a sort of custom 1/48 VF-1S "stealth" made from an extra VF-1J Stealth I had. Nothing fancy. I just made up a head canon for a "Dark Skull Squadron" consisting of experimental stealth VF-1s.

Hey all, It's been a while. Recently got the DX VT-1 in and luckily, no breakages (that I know of). Put them in a display along with the Arcadia VE-1 PF (waiting for something else to come in soon)

I'm reading a quick review of this on another board and it would seem he's saying this valkyrie isn't as bad as others have made it out to be. Then again, I have seen people be overly critical and overly nitpicky about toys in the past. When I get mine and it's the same, then yeah, I guess that doesn't surprise me one bit.

Same here. If they announce a VF-2JA preorder, it will be so bought. I'm kinda glad it's not being handled by Bandai. For whatever reason, I can never successfully place a preorder for any of their Macross stuff.

Thanks for the kind words everyone LOL if there's going to be any sales, it might be the extra woodland camo armor and the extra urban camo armor sets that I apparently bought two of for whatever reason that I cannot remember/figure out.

It's supposed to be a dark blue, but the flash on my cell phone made it look black. To the right of that pic: And to the left: I have the armor for the VF-1J, and the two low viz armor. But for the sake of space, I kept them in the box. And just as I checked, I have 2 each of the low viz (camo and urban). Not sure why I have 2 of each. I don't need 2.

Got the VF-1S low viz in today Also got the shapeways parts to fix the VF-1D Pardon the crappy cell phone pic. Now, I'm just waiting for the VF-1J Mass production BTW, anyone know a good paint color match for the VF-1D? I kind of want to paint those replacement hinges.

Yeah, I was surprised at the condition. I should probably start taking pictures once I get it, and the VF-1A Cavaliers in. I should be getting a VF-1J Mass production mailed to me soon as well, and that should complete my VF-1 collection (hopefully).
