I grew up a child of the 80's, I was introduced to Macross after school via Robotech. It was hard to get my hands on Macross related stuff until the early and mid 2000's. I would order Fansubbed Macross 7 VHS from back east. Then picked up the original Macross in japanese and DYRL sub dvd's from SF J-town. Slowly started my collection of artbooks, dvd, valkyries and costumes since then.

Macross and Robotech have influenced my life. I joined the USAF for my love of aircraft, macross, and family tradition.

(Hikaru joining via Roy) Learned to ride a motorcycle because of Cyclones (Mospeada) I also have a newborn with my Asian GF who is a singer! (always thought Hikaru should have picked Minmay Only thing i would have done differently was join the USAF earlier to be a pilot. Now I just fix Aircraft.
