I do live in Tokyo, Japan and regularly go to Mandrake to try to get what I can afford but my gripe was that the links should be tested before they waste peoples time downloading them.
-
I have just spent hours and days downloading almost every rapidshare link on there using a remote downloader and then painstakingly extracted each file by pasting the password in every time (Why is a password even necessary?) and I have to say I am dissapointed. A lot of files are corrupt or have pieces missing. I was especially dissapointed by the music files posted as a lot of them are badly ripped at low bitrates, badly compiled, are missing track, album and genre information and some are unarchivable. I know I sound like an ungrateful jerk and I really do appreciate the effort it takes to get so much material together but if you are going to do it, why not do it right? It just seems there is no attention to detail or quality on there, its just sheer quantity.

OP - Go as in the Japanese movie about zainichi kankokujin? I liked that movie. I want to see a sequel to Rolling Thunder. Charlie Rain was a badass character up there with Braddock, Rambo, whoever.

The Big Red One is underrated too.

Thankyou. I can only afford a small collection so I`m devoting myself to 1/60 v2. DYRL? toys only. I am anal tho, so if only the TV color comes out I won`t be able to buy...
-
I am on an extremely tight budget recently but this has always been the v 2. that I will not be able to not purchase. It will bring my tiny collection to 4 valkyries and 1 Q-rau. btw someone please remind me if the GBP-1 appeared in DYRL? and if so what valkyrie was under the armor? Thanks.

Also for used and vintage aswell as some new try Nakano Broadway. Plus check out the toy store outside JR Ueno station, they have a good selection.

what? TV version but the ARMD platforms?? I don`t know about Star Trek fans but I think you have to be clear about what version you`re doing here as fans here are pretty hardcore.

Interesting. Think of ANYTHING and the West invented it but the Japanese perfected it.

I guess the girls on the student team wanted to recreate their Moms.

Thanks, I might try to set this up over the weekend.

Picked this up the other day.

No sorry I mean using PSP Adhoc Party over PS3 online.
-
It has to be left right?

Rusty Griswald - "Have you got Asteroids?" Cousin - "No, but my dad does."
-
Does anyone know if connecting to the Adhoc network with a CFW PSP will risk bricking it?

No worries man. I mean every Australian uni has an anime club. You could get in contact with the UTS or Uni of Sydney clubs and they would be likely to be able to arrange a venue on their campus for FREE. I mean when I ran my club years ago we could book ANY room on campus, including class rooms, computer labs, function rooms, small theatres and big theatres.

The Japan dinosaur apologist faction is strong on this website. I have lived all across Japan for 4 years, in tiny towns, in Tokyo, speak Japanese and think I understand the Japanese a lot better than most of you. Do you know what "baka ni suru" is? Its when Japanese make fun of something. Why did the punks laugh their asses off when they said hello? Its coz they thought I was a big joke, they didn`t want to say "hello" just to be nice. When you get to know the language and what Japanese actually say you learn that foreigners are a constant source of laffs for them. I also once walked past a street comedian surrounded by a small crowd. He suddenly stopped his act and waved to me and said "Haro, Gaijin San!" (Gaijin san is outdated and the equivalent of calling someone "of color" in America, its condescending.) , the crowd all turned and stared at me and laughed their asses off. Foreigners are funny to them. I snapped back in a big voice "Haro, Baka-san". The crowd then turned on him and laughed at him. I don`t let Japanese make fun of me for being white, you might and right it off to "different culture," but you are kidding yourself and you are often a laughing stock here.

Thanks, I couldn`t be bothered to look up the SDF-1 stats and figure it out myself

they went to all that trouble but they don`t even have hubcaps.
-
Not sure if you saw my post in another thread but you should really consider collaborating with an Australian university anime club for the con. I used to help run one in uni and we could book any room on campus that wasn`t in use for free (including 500 seat lecture theatres with projector equipment)

Great work so far. Approximately what scale is this?

I live in Japan and 4) and 5) aren`t myths. I constantly have Japanese guys ask me why I don`t date the Junior High School girls I teach. And when I tell em how I`m a little uncomforable that I have a 22 yo gf at 31 yo they say don`t worry about it coz they had like 13 year old girlfriends when they were like 28. Also Japanese dudes shake like leaves whenever you stand up to them. I was walking in the street the other day and a group of teenage punks shouted "HAROOOOOO!" at me and were laughing their asses off. I turned around walked straight up to them and said "do I know you?" in Japanese. They weren`t so tough then, looking at the ground, scared as poo, shaking like pussies. 5 of them, 1 of me. I just stood there for a minute and kept on asking them why the hell they said hello to me, waiting for a reply, they just kept apologising, I laughed and walked off, I`m a skinny guy with thick glasses too.
