Maybe someone to use and abuse in ways you would hestitate to ask a paid professional to do and then send on their way with no feelings of guilt whatsoever?
I just don't feel shame about anything much less my Macross collection. I am going to do what I am going to do and people are going to think whatever they think so why worry about it? It's kinda like that guy from Touching Evil except without the brain damage (despite what my wife might say)if I feel like doing something I do it and worry about the consequences later.
Most on Macross, $180 for the 1/48th super 1j. Most on a toy, $400 for a Bardiche, $450 for a Claymore and another $200-300 each for several swords, axes, et cetera.
Hopefully, they will do a lot of improvement on the prototype. As others have said it looks like a banpresto valk. I can't see paying more than $10-15 for it as it stands now.
For now, I planning on not letting the child into the room with my collection unless they are supervised. If that doesn't fly with the wife, I'll probably block off the side of the room with my stuff using baby gates.
Thank you.
The baby's due in early June. The VF-0S is scheduled for a May release, so guess I'll have a little bit of time to play with the toy before the baby comes
Graham
Congrats Graham! Ours is due in Mid-August so I'll have some time to try to figure out how to baby proof the room with my Macross collection.
I got a Bandai Super Re-issue, a 1/48th VF-1S Hikaru, a set of 1/48th Fast packs, a Sony Power Shot S50 Digital Camera and some Nene Thomas prints. And I was a very bad boy this year. Go figure.
My wife has her own hobbies that she spends on so she doesn't give me too much grief. As long as money isn't tight neither of us gets upset about what the other spends. When things get tight we each expect the other to use common sense.
