    No they are at the back inside the cabinet. It's just the reflections making it look like that. They are led strips stuck to the bottom of the shelf above. From ikea too.

    Good advice thanks. One has popped off on me anyway! Put the pauldrons back on and one is looser than the other. Assume that's just a bandai-ism.

    Got the 22's from eBay, both from same seller in US so saved a bit on shipping. All the F stuff was from NY. My NUNS triangles are intact, just trying to figure out how to transform and add the armour parts. Yeah I've had a good month, winding down now though. These things don't appear to come down in price lol!

    Half of Vermillion squad has arrived. I can't believe how quick these arrived from Japan.

    All true. Most of my stuff just sits on a shelf and has no 'play' elements, eg my 1:18 car collection. So having these be able to be displayed in at least three modes is a definite plus. However, I did choose to put some tape on the inside of the pivot point of the wings just to stop any potential droopage.

    That's the beauty of these things though, you can change them as often as you like. IMO disclaimer, I much prefer messing with the bandai valks to the yamatos. They seem more like toys to me whereas the yams are display pieces and should be treated with more respect. YF-19 being a good example.

    I've gone for it and will just hope for the best. I plan on displaying it in fighter mode with the armour pack anyways.

    Regarding the bracing arm which lowers to floor level, was that a problem on previous releases? I seem to recall some people had trouble getting it to lower all the way down. From the picture, that looks like it has been improved. Unless I'm mistaken and people were just doing it wrong lol.

    Ha. Yeah I said that after I got my 11B. I'd quite like a 30 if they become available again, now this, plus the 0D, plus the 25S reissue (or not!). How much do kidneys go for these days?

    Thanks I figured get them whilst I can, then I have the option to use or not. Plus if I decide to sell at a later time, it may be more attractive to buyers if it was a complete package.

    She's getting into collecting expensive Disney snow globes and figures. As you can imagine, I am actively encouraging it!

    Haha. I just paid for our holiday this year, so I'm hoping that will keep her sweet for now. ...until all the packages start arriving anyway!
