  1. Sorry, the pic is a bit iffy but I kinda like it. I was gonna say YF-19 as that's what got me into this mess, I do really like the 25 though - and Alto's, my first, is still probably my fave. image by Nerdery101, on Flickr
  2. They don't appear to do much. I had already transformed it back to fighter without issue by the time I found out where to put them. I'll probably leave it for now as both times I've picked this toy up, I've regretted it.
  3. You sir are a legend. Thank you. Thanks to anime52k8 too for the original photo.
  4. Thanks Ignacio. My first thought were the shoulders as those things love falling off. It looks great, such a shame about the crazy complex design. Gimme a 21/22 to transform any day.
  5. Hmm. I'm starting to hate this thing. During transformation from F to B, tiny pieces fell off. Has anyone also had the 'pleasure'? I need to know where the frakkers go back on.
  6. He's such a tease.
  7. That look great, though I can feel my wallet trying to hide whenever I see something Hot Toys. And I thought Valk collecting was expensive! Great purchase though, looks amazing in your meditation chamber.
  8. Sorry, misread your post/thread.
  9. http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVMC-52/Sci http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVMC-55/Sci Low stock but available.
  10. Very nice 21. I thought about getting one but went with the M&M 22's instead. The pair cost me about the same as a 21 anyway!
  11. Just to confirm that these work fine on my UK region PS3, region B I think.
  12. I always assumed that the kits had the later, fixed, shoulders. I've also got a sealed kit but I'm not sure if I should open it or not. I wanted to attempt the Sundowners colours, but it may be beyond my talents.
  13. Yeah I always thought they were off-white or light grey. Should be a straightforward job as the tyre rubbers should come off easily enough. I just don't know if I want to start going down the modifying route.
  14. Very nice. Good work with the support, clever stuff.
  15. Haha. I dunno, as it's landing gear it doesn't have to look perfect. A few thin coats of White should be ok, plus if you can still see the factory gunmetal colour you could even add a wash to simulate weathering.
  16. Looks great David, you wouldn't know it didn't come like that. Something that has always bugged me about the bandai valks is the landing gear. Has anyone had any success in repainting them white?
  17. I agree, if I don't have them sloped down it doesn't feel right. Not saying anyone else is wrong though, it's just how I interpreted the instructions and how it feels especially around the funny neck area.
  18. I too find that having the shoulders sloping down at the back makes the neck/collar lock properly, and the back piece sit properly over the cockpit.
