So what's the deal with GFFN? Is this replacing GFF, Cosmic Region, 00 Region and Zeonography?
-
Do any of the Yamato Scopedogs have tampo printed markings or pre-applied decals/stickers? I was particularly interested in the Red Shoulder Scopedog that was supposed to be limited release (NOT the Red Shoulder Custom).

Aoshima should package their Tread with a Legioss that has improved QC. It would cost more, but I'm sure collectors wouldn't mind buying the set. Saves them the trouble of having to take a chance on finding a standalone Legioss with good QC. Even if Aoshima were to reisssue the standalone Legioss with better QC, they might just use the same packaging without any indication that it is an improved reissue (as most of these companies do nowadays).

So these will be different from the supposedly fixed VF-0S that comes bundled with the Ghost?
-
Any idea if it can be purchased through regular channels, or do we have to jump through hoops again?
-
Maybe HK sellers are dumping these because they got wind of CM's impending release of a Brake Gokin Legioss-Tread VER. 2.0 ...
-
But are they all in scale with each other?

Can anyone summarize the drama that's going on there? Haven't read up on tabletop RPG's in quite a while...

Hope its on scale with WAVE's Macross.

Wasn't there a poll abut this? Maybe they can start with that.

I'd love to own one, but I will NEVER buy one at that price. I'd be willing to pay the same price I'd pay for a Yamato 1/48 Valkyrie, but not much more than that. Ridiculous...

Overdrive now offering replacement parts for Yamato
Chet replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Hope Yamato does right by international buyers. If they handle this right, it could spur sales for items that collectors in the know are hesitating to pick up due to quality issues, like the VF-0's or even the new 1/60's. The availability of replacement parts will make buyers more willing to roll the dice. -
At this scale, isn't it just about as high as a 1/48 Valkyrie or 1/12 Scopedog? 28,000 yen would be too much, specially since Yamato ain't the only game in town when it comes to Patlabor.

I'm from the Philippines, and I'm pretty sure Mospeada was never broadcast in the Philippines in any form other than its Robotech: New Generation incarnation.

GN-U Fighter Mode? No. Destroids and Zentraedi? YES.

I wonder if the Aoshima one will have diecast? Shin Seiki Gokin?

That's terrible! They really were THE source for Gundam news in the English speaking world. That blog will be sorely missed.

LIVE ACTION ROBOTECH (WB gets the rights)
Chet replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Hey! You guys show some respect. That's no less than our country's incumbent Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. in the lead role! http://www.ramonbongrevillajr.com/ -
These don't look bad. Their just NOWHERE NEAR worth the asking price.

Your Roy w/ Ghost had the first release problems? Which shop is this? GT?
-
I actually considered that, but my experience with buying toys, specifically from Yamato, is that the brand new stuff often isn't sealed with tape. Also, retailers will sometimes seal pre-owned items to make them look new or untouched.

Is it so hard for Yamato to give this a wider release? If they're afraid they won't be able to sell enough, why not just release them as Limited Ed. like the Low Vis. v. 1? Those sold out fast enough.
