One klump glad to see you made it safe, I was also in Slidell today to look in on my house and I got a pine tree trying to use my garage as a bed. The damage was not really as bad as I feared. I will need a new roof and celining in my garage. but I could have been in more trouble than that. I got pics of while there at some of the downed trees and damage along Gause Blvd. There were some trees I saw looked like they were like a match sticked snaped in half. I will post those pics as soon as I can. As you were told I feared my subdivison i live was flooded to the brim, since it will flood just as a good storm comes in. But I have to admit, my house was high and dry. Right now I am in Layfette and there have been reports of viloence here and that the some of those looters are just being droped off here to. I would be lieing if I said I was already stressed and now I hear this from friends, that has just mulitiplies my stress. Now I am trying to protect my family and friends. I hope this gets under control soon. I fear the worst. Angus

Hey guys, I finally got an internet connection via dial up, but hey it works. I am also in the same condition, but I live in Slidell, La and my wife works at Stennis Space Center too. Thought we do know that there was possiblity to "extensive" damage to it. My wife is worried that she may not be able to return to work and she works up in Center ops Area We have been stuck in Lafayette, La since Saterday when we came up with our local Anime group for Mechacon. Luckly the hotel that we have been staying at has been really good with us and allowing us to have the same rate we got for the con. *whew* Though me and 2 other guys are going to head back to Slidell to see if our homes are still up, I hope they are for the most part. here is a link to a set of forums and pics from the Covington and Slidell area. Slidell and Convington pics once I get home I will know more and how things are shaping up, but it looks like a min. of 2 months before we can head back. Zor, glad to here you guys made it ok.

From what I have gathered the PS3 base system will be $400 and still have to buy all the other equipment, but I will know more once I chat with ye ol Sony guy when he vists my store. as for the Revolution, they are looking same time frame as the PS3, but as I know more I will pass on the info as I get it.

Well, I got off my lazy butt and started working again on modeling, and I recently bought the REvel version SDF-1, dont beat me up yet, I got to see if my modeling skills were still there and if I screwed up lol I love expermintal models Though not as good as you guys I have gotten this much done,still need to fix some messups, but I figrued I put this up and see what you guys think Revel SDF-1 Main gun and Carriers

lol yea I noticed the mark of the beast on the plate. I am trying to save up the money to get a personalized plate. But I did notice some guys looking over my truck one day in parking lot and I am guessing they saw the plate cause one pointed down and the other one was shakeing his head.

lol, I got an UN Spacy sticker awhile back and last month I bought my new truck 2005 Avalanche and since I recently refound the sticker. My wife gave me this wierd look and was thinking something was wrong when i ran out the house suddenlyand when she came out screaming whats wrong, I smiled and told her I found the perfect place for my UN Spacy sticker. WE have 3 flyable shuttles, Endeavour is in for extensive refit and upgrades, Alantis is the next shuttle to fly. Your right as they need anouther for a rescue mission. But with Endeavour having extensive refits right now its looking like setember there "may"not be a launch. They may not fly until the October firing window. But right now they do have times for Tuesday and Wedsday landing already sched. My wife still works at NASA, I used to before I tore my wrist up pertty bad at work one day.

Didnt they have a F-15 that had front canards on it, as a expermental craft?
