    So I had this ALIEN 18in doll for almost 20 years and couldn't figure out who made it, had no manufacturer marking and bought unboxed it at a comic book shop in 1999 IIRC. Did some digging on Google and after filtering many ALIEN toys I found it was made in Japan in the mid 1990s.     This hits all the right nostalgia buttons. Great to see #1 back, I wonder if he'll direct an episode or more? Frake's Fist Contact is one of the top best Trek films IMHO.

    Trailer for season 2! The trailer reminds me of Godzilla: KOTM, is it the same music? Either way, this looks really good!

    They should have made a series based on Blood & Chrome, too late now! Caprica was great but I'm not surprised it was cancelled.

    Finished The Dark Crystal series on Netflix. Wow, way better and darker than expected and not for the little ones either. Using puppetry instead of all CGI was a brave choice, Jim Henson would be proud! Hope there is a second season!!

    That plus the storyline is pretty deep, more so than the movie. My five year old daughter who likes the movie was bored with the series after five minutes.

    Then again... it could kill my love for all things Yamato. Seriously, I sometimes wonder if folk in entertainment purposefully destroy beloved franchises just so we don't ask for more sequels or reboots.

    First episode in. Looks great and way more deep than I expected.

    Still looks good but I'm not interested in TERMINATOR like I used to. I think that ended when the FOX television series was cancelled
