  1. They're ethical hunters doing it for land management, lol.
  2. The Road Warrior meets Predator? Could be interesting. It'd be nice if we got a true AVP with Colonial Marines tho...
  3. Into the first two seasons of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING on Hulu. Steve-Martin-Short makes it quirky and fun, recommended if you're looking that kind of entertainment.
  4. The movies are visual candy but as a dad hearing Sully talking about family hit close to home.
  5. I'd love to see more after this second season with a spin off series between ESB and ROTJ with Mon Mothma leading again.
  6. Sounds like the sequel is good, not Oscar worthy like the first, but still good. I'll go see it and hope to be entertained, lol. https://www.ign.com/articles/gladiator-ii-review-paul-mescal-pedro-pascal-denzel-washington-ridley-scott
  7. Classic Nolan. He did a similar open ending with INCEPTION with the spinning top (totem).
  8. Same. Amazing soundtrack too. Also, I made the mistake of watching INTERSTELLAR while on a business trip and it made me miss my family, especially my daughter, much worse 💓 I regret not seeing INTERSTELLAR in the theater.
  9. The impulse buy and waste isn't new (remember the Pet Rock?) but it does seem worse now than ever because of Amazon and social media. I don't need to watch that documentary as I'm living it. I stopped buying "stuff" including sci-fi collectibles years ago and evolved on to spending money on consumables (eg food, drink) and experiences (eg spa, trips, dining, etc) instead. This includes tech as I don't want to upgrade unless I really have to. Used to be every 2 years for a new smartphone or computer but now I want them to last 5 years or more. Yeah, its great for the environment but its also great for my wallet and peace of mind with having less clutter in my house and not having to think about my children having to deal with it someday. I do get on my wife about it though as she sometimes falls victim to the impulse buy. Retail therapy is not therapy.
  10. Fallout has some of the funnest and most interesting guest stars. Notably was Erik Estrada, he should do more serious acting.
  11. Tony put so much effort into his roles, just at the edge of overacting that made him stand out. Will be missed.
  12. I was being sarcastic, lol. But yeah, years long waits between seasons is dumb af. Hated that with The Sopranos and Game of Thrones too.
  13. It wasn't the lack of good shows that made me cancel PRIME but also their creeping subscription price increases that made it less of value. Plus, PRIME screwed up a few orders for me in the months before I cancelled. Missed out on really good Prime Day deals that couldn't be delivered and PRIME didn't want to re-ship the products I ordered at the price I paid. Their customer support was helpless.
  14. Too bad I ain't watching it as I cancelled my PRIME membership last month. lol
  15. I'm thinking of buying a 4K monitor as well but I want to wait till the nVidia RTX50xx series cards are released and see how they do first. 4K monitor tech is moving fast too so hoping for exciting stuff in 2025!!
  16. 2.5 stars out of 10? lol! Seriously tho. Hollywood greed is so derp and I hope this loss is another wake up call for them. But I doubt it. You'd think the way Hollywood burns cash without real consequence that it makes me think they're probably doing it to launder drug money... 😱
  17. Totally forgot about this show. When was the last season?? Before the pandemic?? lol
  18. Fascinating how well they made Billy Zane look like Marlon Brando.
  19. Looks more Guardians of the Galaxy than STAR WARS...
  20. Aw man. Teri Garr was super cute back in her day, especially when she was in a STAR TREK episode. I'll best remember Teri from Mr. Mom as she reminded me of my mom who was entering into the corporate world.
