  1. Oh, it was cool to see Adam Rothenburg in Ozark too. I really liked him in Ripper Street. That's a great series if you hadn't seen it yet!
  2. Just started this season of Barry but f'ing forgot HBO Max doesn't release a full season altogether like Netflix does. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!! So gonna start Moon Knight tomorrow as its already finished, lol.
  3. Unfortunately that is Hollywood for ya. How many movie versions of King Arthur or Cinderalla have been released in our lifetime?? I'm hoping James Cameron will take an original turn this time around.
  4. Not yet! Few more nights and we'll be done. That being said I think Ozark is one of Netflix's top series, I'd place it after Stranger Things as #1.
  5. Avatar was the best film I saw in 3D and lead the 3D wave last decade. Unfortunately it was the post-processed 3D films that killed that same wave. That being said, I'll see the Avatar sequel in 3D if its made well. On a side note my 2013 65in Panasonic plasma has 3D glasses that I never used, lol.
  6. I paid actually to see the D&D movie when it was first released... had to will till the first LOTR movie was released to get the taste out of my mouth. That being said Vox Machina on PRIME is probably as close you'll get to a good D&D series or movie right now.
  7. Looks very interesting but doubt kids will get the inside jokes. Like kids watch Disney+ anyways, lol.
  8. I joined Paramount+ for Halo but stuck around for 1883, it's a unexpectedly good mini-series.
  9. That was kinda my issue with the film. It's well made I did feel like I had to strain my eyes to see the action. On that note I'm re-watching the Nolan Batman trilogy and it made me think the main reason many like The Batman more is that it has way more Batman and less Bruce Wayne on the screen. I bet if you timed and compared films you'll find The Batman has significant more Batman screentime than the Nolan directed films.
  10. I'd rather just watch a rebooted ROBOTECH animated series. That has a less chance of failure.
  11. If I had Hollywood money I'd produce a 1966 Batman inspired film with a wild ensemble cast using similar costume designs and action though it would be more comedy really, not unllike the Batman LEGO movie. Or... go full noir with a black & white Batman film that takes place in the early 1940s. Subscribe for more of my crazy ideas for future Batman films, lol.
  12. Half-way through 1883 on Paramount+ and it's good AF! I signed up for Paramount+ for HALO but a mini-series like 1883 is worth sticking around for.
  13. I troll ROBOTECH's Facebook page because I love how they repost the same old content.
  14. I love profanity but the amount of colorful metaphors used in this series is dumb and out of place plus makes me miss the original Star Trek by a lot!
  15. If I had the time, lol. We're gonna give 1883 on Paramount+ a go tonight. If we don't like it we'll try His Dark Materials on HBO Max next. I think we can add Flight Attendant to our list tho. My wife can watch that on her own time! 😅
  16. Started watching THE WIRE on HBO Max for the first time but my wife didn't like it, ugh. So now I gotta find a new series for us to watch.
  17. According to Wikipedia the director based this Bruce Wayne off Kurt Cobain which seems like such an odd choice seeing how Kurt took his own life and that Bruce Wayne is supposed to be more cheerful as a rich playboy so as it to keep his Batman identity a secret. That was one of my biggest complaints with this movie TBH. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Batman_(film) In portraying Bruce Wayne, Reeves wanted to depart from the traditional playboy and socialite; because he listened to the Nirvana song "Something in the Way" (1991) as he wrote the first act, he decided to base Bruce on reclusive Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. He took inspiration from the film Last Days (2005), which features a fictionalized version of Cobain living in a "decaying manor".[48] The Godfather (1972) character Michael Corleone also influenced Reeves' take on Bruce.
  18. Yeah, except for Netflix they all seem to be doing be doing that. Netflix really spoiled us, lol.
  19. Hmmm, PRIME seems to be amping it up some. This looks weird and interesting.
  20. Watching Reacher on Prime. We like it, it's similar in a production theme as Bosch which we like. Pretty sure my wife likes the eye candy tho, lol.
