  1. Watching THE LAST KINGDOM on Netflix. It's a fictional medieval era series similar to VIKINGS. I like it though I still do miss Travis Fimmel in VIKINGS.
  2. This thread is devolving into 'movies we don't want to see for the rest of our life' lol.
  3. I actually paid to see SKYLINE in the theater... what was I thinking? LOL Still, the sequels on NETFLIX are decent B-movie fun.
  4. THE MATRIX could have been the next Star Wars but they rammed it down a crap hole with bad writing. Real shame. Thankfully we had Lord of The Rings to keep us nerds happy at the time. Let's hope this new MATRIX film is good enough to re-launch the franchise. It'll have to be good enough without Keanu of course.
  5. Watched Dug Days. Holy frak they are short. The credits are longer than the actual show.
  6. That's because the episode ends right there. Outside episode 4 it would be interesting to see what happens next, especially in episode 3 with just Captain America and Marvel as the Avengers team (couple?), lol.
  7. My wife is like that with The Princess Diaries. Before we cut the cord she'd watch that movie whenever it was on.
  8. I thought this was a joke but it's a real ALIEN cookbook, lol! Very clever. May get this book when my company does Halloween potlucks. Again. Someday. Hopefully. LOL. https://www.amazon.com/Alien-Cookbook-Chris-Rachael-Oseland/dp/1789094836
  9. BLADE RUNNER: 2049 The film is pure art on the screen.
  10. Watched the Bob Ross documentary on Netflix. Interesting for sure and it made the Kowalski family the Carole Baskin of 2021, lol!
  11. IO Probably because not many are willing to go to the theaters again. I do plan on seeing the movie on the 15th though.
  12. Uh oh! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9956649/Tom-Cruise-left-rare-copy-Gun-sequel-bodyguards-car-stolen-week.html
  13. Just finished the series last night and finally opened your spoiler, lol. Yeah, history itself can be a spoiler. Still, after his death the series was still good. That being said, Travis Fimmel is an amazingly good actor. I'd love to see him in a STAR WARS film hopefully.
  14. This is one of the reasons the reboot wasn't as good as it should have been, it lacked a serious villain. Michael Keaton is a great actor but just doesn't come across as bad as a villian as Clarence Bodicker or Dick Jones were in the original.
  15. Looks decent but won't pay to see it in the theater.
  16. Went old school and re-watched JAWS on Prime. Still a classic but never realized it was rated PG Then I re-watched the sequels... JAWS 2 which was OK for a sequel, the teens screaming was over the top though. JAWS 3D was guilty pleasure camp. I remember seeing it in 3D at release and thought it was wild. However silly me didn't also realize that it starred Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossert Jr. who would re-unite to star in ENEMY MINE, a classic sci-fi film. JAWS: The Revenge is next but I already now how awful it is. Ugh.
  17. Agreed and I don't want to derail the thread but the ALIEN: Isolation game had the best ALIEN story since ALIENS.
  18. Still working at 91 while my parents and in-laws struggle with dementia and other major health problems in their 70s. That being said if you look up Ed Asner on IMDB he signed up for many projects that sadly he will never finish.
