    Yeah, like I said in my last post the pilot was a slow burn but it got really good. That being said, I can't tell who the good guys are so I'm just laying back and watching everybody fight while I eat popcorn. lol

    I don't disagree that Frankenstein is a great story however there is many many more books (manga included) sitting on shelves that deserve a look at for a fresh new movie too. And the audience wants that.

    I'll just say it, GDT is an over-hyped director. He has good ideas with pretty cinematic shots but his films don't deliver like they should. Also, Frankenstein... again? Hollywood should have stopped at Young Frankenstein.

    Basically the same rule for EVs, In the past my smart phones lasted two years before the battery crapped out but my Pixel 7 was doing fairly well for 3 years with me keeping the daily charge at 80%. Its nice that newer smart phones have that feature built in like my Pixel 10 which I hope to get more than 3 years of use with. I probably could have got 4 years with my Pixel 7 but the upgrade deal to Pixel 10 was too good to pass up as it was free 😀

    Hard to believe its been 12 years since GTA5 was released. That being said, thankfully I'm not upset about a GTA6 delay as there is games that will have my attention till 2027. Namely Battlefield 6 and I still need to play the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion but I want to wait till I get the 1440p OLED I'm waiting on first.

    Been there and it sucks, Your card probably got skimmed locally. That's why I try to use tap to pay with my phone whenever I can. I also check all my bank and credit card accounts daily too.

    Discord is integral for certain games like World of Warships, mainly for clan communications in game. Its practically the only reason I'm on Discord, lol.

    Minya/Minilla but man did he get smacked around a lot, including by Godzilla. It was kinda disturbing, lol. Was also in some of the worst G films too.

    LOL, same with my Jaguar F-Type. My children have either of our Subaru Outback or Crosstrek waiting for them when they turn 16. Yes, we got 3 cars 😜

    The hype has begun! We also have the new Godzilla x Kong coming out in 2027 and a second season of Monarch too. Good time to be a G fan.

    You know you're getting old when you prefer forums to Discord, lol. That being said, I stay on forums because going to Discord feels like starting over in a community. Reddit is different as I go there more for help and advice rather than discussions. Facebook groups are mostly derp, even for my local community groups (eg cars, town). I also see this old vs young age related tech issue with gaming too. Interesting times.

    My kids are watching Stranger Things for the first time. While watching it in the background it made me realize the real villain is Mike. He is such a miserable self prick of a character. Don't know how 11 or his pals can stand him.

    I have to agree with you that poor follow ups can kill nostalgia. Disney f'd up the SW sequel trilogy which impacts my love for the original and prequels. Even though Disney made up some, or a lot depending on who you ask, with Mandalorian and ANDOR it didn't help as they are a series so they felt outside the ream of cinema if that makes sense. That being said I rewatched Legacy and its just a way better film than ARES cinematic wise, so many beautiful shots. Kosinski was way ahead of his time.

    Yeah, WEAPONS is a well made wtf kind of movie that is very entertaining. Definitely worth a watch.
