  1. Aw man! Didn't expect this Goodfella to die so young 😥 Ray Liotta Dead at 67 https://www.tmz.com/2022/05/26/ray-liotta-dead-dies-dominican-republic/
  2. Same for Tokyo Vice though I though it was a mini-series, lol. I'd have to say Ridley Scott's BLACK RAIN is required watching for it.
  3. The SFX could have been better too. It seems about ten years behind their peers. Some series have a rough start in their first season so let's see if they fix the problems by the second season.
  4. With Godzilla and now Speed Racer I can see APPLE+ is chasing the GenX money for their streaming service, lol. A live-action 'Speed Racer' series is headed to Apple TV+ https://www.engadget.com/speed-racer-series-apple-tv-185217208.html
  5. Finished the first season last night. Ended better than it started at least.
  6. Christian Bale seems out of place. Makes me miss Nolan's Batman more now, ugh.
  7. Good to see Esai Morales getting big parts again. I bet his work in OZARK helped 😃 Always liked him since La Bamba.
  8. I have never seen Chariots of Fire. Guess I gotta check it out now.
  9. Like tears in rain... Sucks that this is the second RIP thread I created in a week. No more please. Vangelis, Oscar-Winning Composer for ‘Chariots of Fire,’ Dies at 79 https://variety.com/2022/music/news/vangelis-dead-chariots-of-fire-blade-runner-1235272061/
  10. Nostalgia factor would be fun but yeah, I think it's too late in their age. Maybe five years ago or more would have been good. And I suspect they'd be cheaper to cast than they were at their prime, lol.
  11. They can't bring Danny Glover and Arnold back for a sequel??
  12. Best super hero comic book series on streaming. INVINCIBLE is a close second. Eat it, Disney MCU!
  13. INTO DARKNESS was garbage and worse than FINAL FRONTIER imho. Seriously, JJ Abrams stills ideas from other films and re-packages them as nostalgia that is cheap and insulting.
  14. Yeah, definitely a good find on Paramount+ but they really screwed up by giving Yellowstone to Peacock. But remember that Star Trek started on NBC too tho, lol.
  15. Zombies are played out and I can think of many other games that deserve their own series or movies. Oh well.
  16. Watched it last night. Pretty wild with the cameos and such. And yeah, it was the bloodiest PG-13 MCU film yet.
  17. Aww, man. Fred was in so many classics. I always held out hope for a Remo Williams sequel one day too. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/fred-ward-dead-remo-williams-tremors-1235146115/
  18. Re-started watching the series and into episode 2 now. It's f'ing clear they worked to borrow from so many other series and movies out there for this one show. Real shame they couldn't make it stand out on its own. Again, an epic action movie would have been the best route.
  19. Heh, somehow I missed out on the casting of Feyd. Anyways, I'm kinda surprised they went with a white actor for Emperor. lol
  20. IGN gave it a 7. Same score as Matrix: Resurrections... https://www.ign.com/articles/top-gun-maverick-review
