  1. One can wish to be living as well as Cheech and Chong at their age, gonna have to rewatch their early films again. They also gave Paul Reubens's film career a good start as Pee-Wee Herman, though very R-rated, lol. Miss that guy ๐Ÿ™
  2. I'm looking at 5070 Ti as well but the prices I've seen so far are terrible. I'm hoping to see some deals in the coming months.
  3. Last year when I was looking at new Jaguar F-Types their white paint with red leather interior combo gave my Mach 5 vibes., especially in convertible. More so than a Corvette or other 2 seat sports car imho. Ended up going with Carpathian Grey paint with black leather coupe which gets compared to the Batmobile, lol.
  4. I read THE GORGE is good. Will check it out when we do a month's subscription to Apple+ sometime this year.
  5. I don't think it needs it own thread (yet!) but looks like THE GOONIES 2 is officially happening! Hollywood is still chasing that GenX money but legacy sequels hasn't had a good track record, seems like 1 out of 10 or more are really good or isn't a box office success. No idea how the sequel will go but my crazy idea would be the actors the actors themselves would be the "goonies", kinda like "THIS IS THE END" where the actors portrayed themselves in a crazy situation. โ€˜Goonies 2โ€™ Officially in the Works With Steven Spielberg Producing https://variety.com/2025/film/news/goonies-2-sequel-steven-spielberg-1236308226/
  6. If GM had any brains left they would bring back the Pontiac Firebird as a sleek looking BEV and integrated AI that sounds like K.I.T.T. ๐Ÿ˜œ
  7. Oof. Was planning on seeing it for Valentine's Day date night but think we'll just wait till it comes to streaming instead. As for the "don't trust critics" response I get it but I'm not risking to spend $40 to $50 to watch a single movie that may suck. https://www.ign.com/articles/captain-america-brave-new-world-review-anthony-mackie-harrison-ford-red-hulk
  8. In case you hadn't seen it yet.
  9. Marvel's Suicide Squad May see it in the theater. Don't know yet.
  10. Reminds me of JP3 which I like and think is under rated.
  11. Looks good. Don't know if I want to pay to see it in a theater tho.
  12. Looks like Battlefield is returning to Battlefield 4!! FINALLY! I'm hyped!!
  13. How so? I hardly ever read about NVME compatibility issues but have you checked for an update on your mobo's BIOS or checking with WD for support? Maybe its a driver?
  14. I found this SNL skit more entertaining than the actual film ๐Ÿคฃ
  15. The more I read the 50xx reviews the more I'm disappointed. Apparently the new frame generation can still create artifacts and terrible input lag. I was originally planning on going 4K in my next complete build and may just dial it back to 1080p with eye candy and high FPS at native frames.
  16. Already there however I'm wondering if I can save me the hassle of building my own with a pre-built instead. 5080 pre-builts are available to order and some of their prices aren't as high as I expected. Spec wise the price is about equal to what I have in pcpartpicker though I don't know the specific make/model of certain parts like RAM and PSU for example. Kinda tempting still. https://www.adorama.com/cyslc11040c...&utm_source=rflaid914457&utm_medium=affiliate https://www.ign.com/articles/preord...-5080-and-5090-prebuilt-gaming-pcs-at-adorama
  17. Gladiator 2 is on Paramount+. Just finished watching it and I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in the theater. Yeah, such a terrible money grab. Ridley Scott is not ending his career in style it seems.
  18. What kind of SSD? 2,5in or NVME? This video has a great explanation on building a PC and the parts that go into it. As an experienced builder I found it interesting too. My 7 year old ADATA 1Tb Gen3x4 NVME M.2 is still doing great but I plan on buying a Western Digital Black Gen 4 NVME M.2 for my next build. 2Tb for OS/games/programs and maybe a 4Tb for media that may need processing. Game files are getting HUGE at 100Gb or more so having drive space will be needed. You may want to consider a fresh install with Windows 11 if your hardware supports it as Windows 10 support ends this October. If you have a fast PC and Internet connection then it shouldn't feel it takes a long time to reinstall all your programs. This is why I'm building a complete new PC this year as I'd rather not spend money on a new OS for an aging system. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-10-home-and-pro
  19. There are series that sounded dumb on paper but turned out to be excellent and well appreciated after they were released. Could this be one of those series? We shall see.
  20. oh look, another teaser ๐Ÿ˜‘
  21. Interesting about the 32Gb sized memory recommendations for DOOM. I like to stay ahead when it comes to memory size so it looks like I'm going with 64Gb for my new PC build this. Thankfully its not as expensive as I thought it would be.
