They finally found Jesus. I would of suspected the actor portraying the character would of been older.

Funny enough the sequel is being released one year before BR took place. Well, its 2016 and we have no flying spinners cars or Pan-Am but at least traffic ain't too bad

Can't we just get a good AVP? You know, where it doesn't take place on Earth and has Colonial Marines with pulse rifles. -

Yeah, that is more likely but would like a choice that is less obvious. -

The film needs a big actor like Arnold, thats what made the first Predator so awesome. I can't think of one though... maybe Ben Affleck?!? -
Great episode but they're jumping right into the next compendium rather quickly. But hey, best show on TV right now IMHO.

The Ultimate Filipino ROBOTECH Merchandise Thread

I was in Manila in 2011 for two weeks to train an operations center there for my company, some of the guys loved anime and Robotech. Had a good time there. -
Star Wars Rebels - animated series
TangledThorns replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
New trailer is pure wow. I enjoy the series, just wish they changed the animation style. -
I enjoyed Cloverfield but this trailer is typical JJ Abrams 'less is more' shenanigans. I remember people speculating the original Cloverfield trailer had something to do with Voltron.

I just saw. We lost the Goblin King and now Snape. Both from cancer at age 69.

Just one viewing for me... With a toddler its hard to see movies when in-laws aren't close by and hadn't found a babysitter we trust yet. Ugh!

I have a toddler and danced with her while playing this David Bowie song from Labyrinth. Dance magic, dance!

I saw David Bowie perform live only once, great show and a real gentleman on the stage.

Agreed. It's how I hoped Rebels would of been animated. Still, I hope Disney looks at hiring this guy.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in theaters Dec. 16, 2016

I'm hoping there will be an interesting non-human or two. I do expect Darth Vader to show up in this film, that will be its main hook! -
Best Movie Badguy of all time?
TangledThorns replied to Mechamaniac's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
At work today and was reminded why Bill Lumbergh of Office Space is the best villain since Darth Vader. What makes him so great is we've all probably known at least one guy like this during our careers. -
Though it'd be mean I'd love to see Peter Dinklage's face if someone asked him to play R2-D2

I know this is heavy sci-fi but between the Starkiller base and finding a lightsaber at the bottom of Cloud City this film's disturbing lack of logic pushed my suspension of disbelief to the point of annoyance. In regards to the Luke's lightsaber it really shouldn't matter. As we learned in AOTC a Jedi can go through several lightsabers during their lifetime.
