The older crowd, mainly us parents, will see this but I wonder if our kids will enjoy it.

Man, the new Deus Ex continues to blow me away. This 'Dawn' engine graphics demo is the most impressive I've seen since the first Crysis last decade.- 6831 replies

IMHO this is the best E3 since 2004. That being said this Deus Ex trailer blew me away and is what my next PC upgrade will be built around next year.- 6831 replies

Speaking of parks have you guys ever done the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios? It's pretty fun. On the same note Universal Studios is the best amusement park in Orlando, way better than Disney's. Especially the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride, it's the best ride ever!! https://www.universalorlando.com/Rides/Islands-of-Adventure/Jurassic-Park-River-Adventure.aspx

I remember seeing Never Say Never Again and how big it was to see Sean Connery as Bond again. I was young and was my second Bond film after For Your Eyes Only but my parents were super excited to see Sean again.

How many actors are there that portrayed a villain in Star Wars, James Bond and LoTR? I can only think of one... RIP.- 14 replies

AKIRA LIVE ACTION MOVIE = Life Support?
TangledThorns replied to Macross007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The only way I could see a live action film work is with a all Japanese cast and Hollywood production. If they were smart they would go this route and use the content of the manga series for a film trilogy. -
Looks good but I have no interest in seeing it. Reminds me a little too much of Mission to Mars.

Looks like Robotech is last on the list so I'm curious as to how soon will we see it? Seems like he completes his films fast & furious (<-LOL) so maybe three years, less perhaps?

Even MORE remake madness.......
TangledThorns replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Very cool. Starman was a great film but oddly the most anti-John Carpenter film of his career. Honestly, I think a Starman remake could work film or even as a TV series, again -

I know they are trying for a 80s cheese-flick but it seemed more 1990s. Reminded me of all the crappy Jean-Claude Van Damme and 'virtual reality' (Lawnmower Man & Johnny Mnemonic) films I wasted time in the theater in during that decade. Plus the dinosaurs are a nod to 1993's Jurassic Park too.
