  1. The Battlefront II trailer was sweet but so was the first Battlefront I trailers too If EA wants me to buy the game then Battlefront needs to be more like Battlefield and I don't understand why they don't do that.
  2. I think the biggest problem with this new trilogy is the lack of a compelling villain. For such a large franchise Kylo Ren has to be one of the weakest villains in recent cinema history IMHO.
  3. While my two and a half year old little girl was playing with her Batman it made me realize we'll definitely see another Batman reboot, maybe more in my lifetime. Not certain how I should feel about seeing a new Batman every five or so years.
  4. The trailer did seem to borrow from Guardians of The Galaxy which I'm OK with because I'm sold on this film.
  5. IMHO the Thor films were the weakest of the MCU but it looks like this one could make up for the previous two films, bigly!
  6. Yeah, Mr. Potato Head was the first that popped in my mind when I heard Don Rickles died. Heckuva career he had, funny too. RIP.
  7. Don't know about Franco but I have a good feeling that Danny McBride will make this film better than we expect. I think the issue that fans have with Covenant is that it feels and looks too much like Prometheus which was a grand disappointment.
  8. Just watched X-Men: Apocalypse over the weekend on HBO. I never want to see that film again, it's the worst X-Men film IMHO. Yes, I thought it was worse than United and Origins. Bryan Singer seems only capable of making good movies or dumpster fires.
  9. Looks decent enough. Odd that we don't see more of James Franco unless his character dies very early?
  10. Interesting that this film doesn't scare me. Probably because I don't have coulrophobia
  11. Was just discussing with a coworker that the Wolverine films improved dramatically with each sequel. I can't think of any trilogy that is like that. Closest is LOTR but they're all equally great IMHO. Typically its the the third film that is weakest in a trilogy.
  12. Anybody take their kids to watch this? Though I find it super cheesy the TV show on Nick holds my two and a half year old daughter's interest.
  13. Finally watched this show after my wife showed interest in it First episode was slow but we started to enjoy it more and more as it progressed. As a child of the 1980s (born in '73) I wish I could say my childhood was that interesting but that was before Internet and Robotech/Macross too! Can't wait for the second season!
  14. Saw it with the wife tonight. Great film and kicked my ass on an emotional level. Dads who saw it and have a little girl or girls will get what I'm saying. Last but not least, this film and Hugh Jackman deserve at least a Oscar nomination.
  15. I can't even tell who Voyager is. It appears to be Japanese run but who is running it? http://voyager-e.co.jp/corporate.html
  16. Read on a website where folk are annoyed that WW's eyes aren't blue like they are in the comic. Is that an actual deal breaker? I wonder what Gal Gadot would look like if she wore special color contacts.
  17. I doubt many will care whatever WW's backstory will be as long as the film is good.
