    Yeah, these new PC cases got bigger and heavier with the tempered glass to show off the RGB lights and is why I passed on them for my next build. Ended up buying a ASUS AP201 MFF case which is way lighter and has enough space for my RTX 5080 and a HDD. My build will be all stealth black, no RGB, which I think is distracting and just another thing to manage which I don't want. I just want excellent performance in a PC!

    Finished the second/final season of 1923 starring Harrison Ford and its another win by Taylor Sherican! Great cast and Brandon Sklenar should have a heckuva future.

    Congrats. Wise way to go about it these days. Saw in a different forum where someone paid $1900 USD for a Gigabyte Aorus RTX 5080 from a Amazon 3rd party seller... wtf.

    Somehow I missed seeing Jared Leto cast as Skeletor, let's see how that goes 😜 On a related note I think Frank Langella's performance as Skeletor in the 1987 He-Man film was pretty damn good for it's time.

    Oh I don't disagree with pre-builts. You do you and find what suits you, lol. Funny enough I was looking at a gaming laptop too but decided for a gaming PC as I would only bring my work laptop for business trips which I rarely do and my mobile phone for family trips as its supposed to be family time and not for gaming. For those still looking its crazy out there but still recommend using Trackalacker or other inventory tracking site to find a GPU that is in stock. Trackalacker was how I found my RTX 5080. I advise people to exercise patience and hope things get sorted soon or you may end up overpaying by a lot or getting scammed. Remember, its NEEDS vs WANTS. Do you really need that overpriced GPU? Take a breath, don't let FOMO get to you ✌️

    I thought about the Costco or pre-built PC route and there are some that are good deals but I'm a control freak and wanted a specific parts for my PC. That being said my MSI RTX 5080 Shadow OC was delivered this week, thankfully it was bought before the recent price bump. On a last note I have everything I need for my build except MSI's new 850 MAG Mortar mobo that should be released sometime this month.

    My wife took the children instead so I can have a range day with a neighbor. Kids enjoyed it and so did my wife, said she never felt bored.

    All those films aren't big sci-fi nor comic book franchises. Jared Leto is a great actor but somehow he has a poor track record with mainstream action/sci-fi films. Probably not his fault and he seems to keep trying so props for effort I guess, lol.

    Garret Hedlund has been in Taylor Sheridan's series Tulsa King and Bass Reeves on Paramount+ and he looks completely different. Age is a mf'er, ugh. Still, he should be in this movie but it seems they written him and Olivia Wilde's characters out ☹️

    Apparently Disney pissed off Bruce Boxleitner when the sequel to Legacy was cancelled last minute before production. Disney also cancelled Tron Uprising too early imho. I love Tron but I'm not feeling it with this teaser like I did with Legacy's teaser. I am curious about NIN's soundtrack though!

    Automan was a TRON ripoff but now Disney is ripping off Automan 🤣 Who else here remembers watching this series? I loved it as a kid.

    Ehhh, Rick & Morty's last season was pretty weak and struggled to get a laugh out of me. No surprise after their staff "shakeup" and should have ended there.

    Val's health has been terrible because of the cancer and surgeries for it. If it wasn't for that I'm sure Val Kilmer would still be making awesome movies or streaming series. Hope he has found peace.

    2027? That seems like a long way off. Might as well be a legacy sequel by then, lol. EDIT: Feels weird typing 2027. It's the future but not as sci-fi like as I expected as a kid 😟

    Monitoring Trackalaker all day is not ideal but it beats getting in line at my local Microcenter at 2am, lol. Apparently some people are still doing that, ugh. For the last several years its been a painful time to be a gamer caused by pandemic chip shortage, crypto, and now AI. I'm concerned it'll get worse even with the RTX 60xx series with nVIdia and AMD is chasing wholesale AI bucks. But I hope I'm wrong.

    I've been following Trackalacker like it was a stock ticker yesterday and though I wanted a 5070 Ti I decided to splurge on a MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC for $1249 from their website. Still above my planned budget but I've always had mid-range cards so what the heck, lol. That being said supply seems to be improving, not great, but still improving. So scalpers can get f'd! Now I'm waiting on MSI to release their new MAG 850M mobo so can start on my next complete build soon!!

    Kinda sad I'm not the only one underwhelmed by this. Hollywood should move on to other properties and there many out there that they already bought the rights to. Tops for me in no special order would be: 1. Warhammer 40K 2. Attack on Titan 3. AKIRA 4. Deus Ex 5. The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers

    I used Win11 for work and its fine for me. I think as long as its not like Win8 I'll be OK with it. OMFG those stupid tiles. Win8 is one Microsoft OS that I'm glad I skipped.

    The only time nostalgia in ALIEN worked well was in Isolation which I think is still the best media in the ALIEN franchise since ALIENS.
