  1. Hayden's acting overall wasn't that bad. The unimaginative dialogue starts with Portman's "Very good, Commander." It just sounds unnatural right there at the opening of the film. They could have put some more thought into the dialogue.
  2. The small ones were $5-$6. They weren't intended to be serious transforming toys like the big Mospeada and the 3 Legioss toys. They're just little cheap representations, like Morphers, except Morphers have higher quality plastic.
  3. That's the version I grew up on too. That might have been my first anime, either Harlock or Robotech. A while back I did find some fansub distros that claimed to have it, but I never got around to ordering the tapes. I lost my enthusiasm for Harlock over the years to other shows. Captain Harlock and The Queen of a Thousand Years is a "Robotech" of Space Pirate Captain Harlock (or was it SSX?) and Queen Millennia. Unlike Robotech, the footage goes back and forth between the two shows instead of having them one after the other. It was produced by good ole anime butcher Unca Carl. Harmony Gold never put out any videos or products for it AFAIK. It's lost and forgotten about like their Dragonball dubs. Captain Harlock and The Queen of a Thousand Years, an agonizingly long title that filled up the whole TV screen, is not the same as the other Captain Harlock dub released by Malibu Comics. This is the one where the kid is named Christopher Jenson, the computer is Roger, the little girl is Maya, and the queen of the Mazone is Regina (hehe I still remember 15 years later). There are 2 other characters named Nora and Olivia. http://www.angelfire.com/nh/eternalanime/ http://www.angelfire.com/nh/eternalanime/main.html He says he's trying to sell all his fansubs. If this guy really does have them, he's got episodes 15-21 and 45-51 on this page: http://www.geocities.com/amethyst_light/ http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-...nd+the+queen%22 edit: I saw this show in 1987-1988 on The Cartoon Channel, a TV station we used to have here in Alaska that had cartoons 24 hours a day.
  4. I'm getting that Prime. What's the best place to buy him from?
  5. I don't think that's true. Japan and USA protect each other's copyrights, so the Japanese company doesn't need to license a show for it to be protected. The difference is the people who can sue you can get to you easier. HK bootleggers aren't sued because they're inaccessable.
  6. Just don't end up like Robotech.com where they flood the forums with the same topic and go "Sorry! I didn't see it". If they move it all to a FAQ forum then nobody has to see it before they post. What about the VF-1 and Legioss MPC threads? You could make a general MPC thread.
  7. What screenshots? The pictures at the top look like drawings to me.
  8. It would have to be on a Macrossworld server to get popular. DALnet sucks. It was the worst IRC network to host the Macrossworld chat that could you have possibly chose except maybe EFnet.
  9. Legioss is a cooler username than Rand. It's more representative of the greatness of Mospeada. The avatar is Kijima from my other favorite show, Marmalade Boy.
  10. The new board's looking good. B) Rand's gone. I squashed him.
