SPOILERS for the last episode below..... .... Macross 7 keeps getting better. I just saw the last episode. It was amazing. There are some things I'm confused about. Maybe after the OVA and the movie I'll understand better. Why did it take Gamlin's spiritia to wake up Basara? Why did it take Sivil's spiritia to get through to Gepelnich (is that the right spelling)? It's been a couple of days since I've seen the last episode, but why did Gepelnich decide the spiritia farm project was over and that she (he) should become a spiritia black hole? I guess it's time to finally read the newbie thread now that I'm through the spoilers. There's so much more to Macross than I thought there would be. It's great. I love Sivil!

Basara, Mylene, Gubaba, Veffidas, Ray, these characters are more fun than in any other Macross. The concept of spiritia makes Macross a million times more interesting. We get to find out more about the protoculture. The music rocks. I'm up to episode 44 now. Max in a VF-22, HG thinks they can top that? Wasn't there an episode where we see the soldiers getting possesed by protodevlin including Gigile and Gepelnich?

The blood in the cockpit is from the Crack McWacky Robotech novel #3 "Homecoming". They read the books and mixed it up with Macross.

I have Highlander 2 renegade version and there's something about it I've never been able to understand. How can Macleod grow up in that village and live with his clan for 20 years and be from the past at the same time? Wouldn't he and Ramirez be reincarnated in the future at the same time? Maybe I'm missing something here but it seems to me renegade version makes even less sense then them coming from space.

The LLA versions of those two songs have different names. Stop! is Fire! and Dead Fields is Horizon.

I have some of the Pit Inn songs. I've PMed Southcross for a userid/password to upload. The 16 tracks I have I got back when the Cantina FTP was up. edit: The CD the major's talking about is Mospeada Super Collection. Are there any songs that aren't already on iMacross? There's a track at the end of Yellow singing Blue Rain live in a female voice.

38 is a recap show, but some of it is new and moves the plot forward. Somebody stabbed Endymion in the past life. We can't see who it is except for their sword. Nephrite, resurrected without his powers, I assume, is now just an a-hole.

Macross Compendium says the 5 episodes are planned to be 30 minutes each, but they could change their mind. It's possible.

They really need to make a movie edition for this. I wouldn't say make it into a TV series because then the animation wouldn't be as beautiful as it is, but there's a lot to tie up in the last 30 minutes. I like how they're not forgetting the romance. The characters make the story.

No, I'm not going to cheer on the security guards harrassing a fan. Personally, I think Man-Faye is funny and he's cool. Those two old guys in front of him in the picture wouldn't know anything about fans. But, I see how it happened because he apparently violated some rule of theirs where you have to wear a certain amount of clothing. I still don't have to agree with it. I don't think he was really hurting anything.
