    Lulz hit Bethesda, EVE and Minecraft this week. They've been busy, but I'm pretty sure Bethesda told em to get bent.

    I like where the big N is headed with the new console, at least in part. The lack of a good size built in HD and the scattered reports that it doesn't out muscle the PS3 or 360 in terms of technical power concern me. The controller has a lot of potential, and all the videos I've seen about the new system so far have said the controller is comfortable and light. I dunno, overall I'm excited about it and will likely buy it on or close to launch. The new Devil May Cry...or DMC I guess, looks...ok, but that still isn't Dante and I really feel like after DMC3 that (another) origin story is totally pointless. PSVita or w/e seems interesting, but my PSP has gotten such a small amount of use out of it compared to almost any other platform I own, I'm not sure I'll buy it.

    A valid point, EVE is not an easy experience to get into. Hopefully with Incarna finally starting to roll out this month, it will help ease some of the issues you encountered when you tried it. I like EVE in part because it is complex and takes time to learn. But the game can bludgeon you to death a bit in the beginning.

    I'm on the fence about Dust 514. I'll probably at least check it out to show support for CCP. I just cant see it taking me away from EVE though.

    There seems to be a fair amount of variation in Reaper size. In a trailer we see the new walking types that are smaller but move fast, and later we see two of the same "sovereign" type shape, one in the foreground is considerably smaller than one of the same shape in the background, which is towering over skyscrapers.

    O.o I missed the not-Soundwave, I gotta go back and look at that. My Target was the same way Mike, there is a Target by my girlfriend's house (about an hour away) that stocked just about everything, so I'd check there when I was down. I wound up caving and ordering the BBTS set with Scourge, Wheeljack and Thundercracker to avoid the situation you described. The distribution just seems so immensely out of whack that it almost isn't worth hunting in retail stores anymore.

    As do I, I actually have managed to miss out on this mold (or a variant of it) entirely. So this is probably a sure buy for me unless the price is nuts. ' On another note, that add on set for Reveal the Shield G2 Prime looks nice. May scoop that up as the additional armor seems to look nicer than he does out of package.

    Duke Nukem Forever demo hit for those that had it on pre-order. Played it a bit last night and I'm on the fence. It was enjoyable, and nostalgic but it didn't grab me like say...the Bulletstorm demo. Granted Bulletstorm died within 10 days or so after purchase so that doesn't mean anything. I dunno, it just didn't seem as over the top in both content or gameplay as I might have thought. Though this may be intentional because anyone could pre-order and get a code for the demo. We'll just see though, I'll give it another playthrough or two before I decide. Super stoked about the ZOE and MGS HD collections, it will finally give me a reason to dust the PS3 off and use it. I'm also hoping this E3 gives us some concrete info on Last Guardian.

    Yeah, there is a video review floating around of the Clear Faith leader, and the thing is practically falling apart while he's transforming it, and it came broken out of the box. About the only 3rd party full figure I could justify was Springer/Warbot but he was exceptionally nice.

    XII was one of my favorites. I was pretty on the fence about it when it came out, but I really loved once I sat down and played it. I still have a soft spot for JRPGs, there is a lot I do like about them. It really just depends on what I'm in the mood to play. I just cant figure out why Square wont bite the bullet and remake some of the most loved games in the FF series. I mean it seems like we've had about 14 remakes of 3 (or six depending on where you're from).

    Snagged my IMAX tickets for the midnight showing today, I do IMAX so rarely I forgot how nasty ticket prices were. Still it should be a good time provided I get there early enough to be in the front half of the line.

    I kinda liked the draw system to be honest, I can certainly understand why people wouldn't though. As for the 7 remake, I think the should find a way to roll Crisis Core in with it somehow. It makes the storyline of 7 so much more cohesive. But if they HD remake it like other companies are starting to do with PSP games that'd work too. On that note, anyone who missed MGS: Peacewalker, but has a PS3 will get a chance to play it on your home console.

    Looks more like a hybrid than the Overmind, especially given that the Overmind itself was massive and with its capture/destruction Kerrigan was in charge of the swarm. It's obvious, even from what little we know, that there will be some plot device in place so she keeps that control. A new Overmind would be unneeded. A Human/Zerg hybrid created in a fashion similar to the Protoss/Zerg hybrid seems more plausible.

    Square has been talking about making 3 games based around XIII since the announced it. They really should just cut the crap and remake 7 and 8...and 9. Square could make enough money off those (and probably just 7) to fund 10 projects.

    Well there are entirely separate dev teams for D3, SC2, WoW and Blizzards new MMO. While I'm sure members move through teams (especially between WoW and the new MMO dev) there is no reason to assume that you will only hear about 1 of their IPs in a given year. I'm sure we will get a ton of SC2 and D3 info this year, maybe even some hints as to w/e new thing they are cooking up for WoW (seeing as how Deathwing is slated to hit this summer and be the end boss of this expack).

    Most likely Blizzcon, or some huge SC gaming event in Korea, just some event that focuses entirely on their products. I don't think Blizzard has made big E3 announcements for a while.

    Stopped by Target today to check out what they had. They were decently picked over on the Deluxe size stuff, but they had a lot of voyager stock. Most of it was Prime which looks much much better in person, so much so that I may get him. They also had 1 or 2 Skyhammers as well. So I did pick up one of those as he is really awesome. The head coloring still looks a bit funky to me, but overall he is great and his transformation is pretty clever as well. I'd say he's probably the best helicopter mold to date.

    Yup, RotF made nearly 840 million worldwide. DotM looks bigger, better and it has the 3D component. While I'm not a huge 3D buff, the tickets cost more, and it looks like you can only go 3D with IMAX, which means a percentage of ticket sales will rake in more money. The only reason I could see this movie not doing better or cracking the 1 Billion mark is because 2 left a bad taste in plenty of peoples mouths. I personally liked 1 and liked many aspects of 2, so going to see this is a no brainer for me.

    Saw it tonight and I thought it was easily the best Pirates since the first. I felt 2 and 3 got wayyyy to into the Bloom/Nightly thing. Seeing that epic DotM trailer on the big screen was pretty awesome too.

    I personally love my 3DS, it's probably my favorite handheld of all time and I've been playing them since Gameboy. I will agree that its current library is a bit lacking, but I had similar feelings about the original DS and ultimately loved that system as well. IMO the tech is cool, and the games coming out between now and holiday time are well worth the cost of the unit. That being said, I'm kind of a handheld nut, and I do love most things Nintendo does (the Wii hasn't been played since Zelda though).

    I may cave on the New Epyon. I haven't bought a gunpla kit in a long time but this might make me re-crack open the wallet. I'd have done it sooner if they just gave me one of the Deathscythe variants from the show. I like EW and all, but come on, give the original (or upgraded) suit designs across the board....except for Talgeese, just get me an MG version of that, III was probably my favorite version. Hell they should just go the old HG route for that one and give the options to build any of the variants in one box.

    Agreed, the white OP as UM has always seemed like a cop out to me. Even as a little kid that always irked me. I would be happy with a completely unique mold for Magnus. That being said, seeing how much they want for new Prime. A totally unique Magnus could be a bit too expensive for people. Still, I'd love to see them do it.
