  1. YES! I totally nailed this one.
  2. I actually think that scheme works pretty well. I like it.

    What about a 1/72 scale?

Although, as a precautionary measure you might want to just loosen those screws a wee bit. That's what I did with mine.

Thanks for the heads up. I just loosened mine and the arms seems fine.

Hmm, I doubt that really classifies as being as huge and awsome as a new mold. It would be pretty easy for Yamato to pump one out as it is. Also, do we really need another VF-1? We've got plenty as it is.

I'd put my money on the SV-51 or the YF-21. The other options don't seem too likely in my opinion. Kinda hoping for the SV-51... it's got a kickass jet mode. I've always been a little hohum on the YF-21.
  9. The fighter mode is so worth it though.
  10. I agree with what you're saying. If I understand you correctly... who gives a crap about it being exactly like the line art? I keep hearing battying upon battying upon battying about how it's not line art accurate, not anime accurate, not whatever accurate, not approved by this dude or that dude. Who freakin cares? We get kickass toys, who cares if the nose is 2 degrees angled differently than the line art? I think some people have to stop being so nit picky and whiney and get the broomsticks out of their asses. Does it really matter if the stripe is red or white? Honestly, is it really worth all the battying and complaining? *Gets off his soap box* I'll stop now.
  11. How do you get your valks to stand in gerwalk mode with their noses down? Mine keep flopping over... am I missing something?
  12. Finally, some more eye-candy for this thread. Great work everyone!
  13. Or I could do that.... LOL
  14. Sweet. Now all I have to do is FIND some Takatoys stickers (no luck thus far) and then find the money to pay for them. This goo-gone stuff sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.
  15. Dude, that's weak! Does your insurance cover it at all?
  16. Cool, thanks for the info!
  17. Well, like the blundering shoot-first-ask-questions-later guy that I am, I went hog wild and applied all the Yamato stickers to my 1/48 VF-1 figures and, not even a year later, they're all starting to peel at the edges. Just curious to know if they come off easily? I've been tempted for a long time now to sticker up these babies with some Takatoys stickers but before I go ahead and order some I'd like to know how well the Yamato stickers come off. Any residue? Anything I should be particularly concerned about?
  18. For a fan dub that's pretty freakin good.
  19. I so cannot wait to get my hands on this guy. But yeah, I think some better hands are in order.
  20. Looks good regardless. I should really pick me up some Takatoy decals.
  21. ghostryder, are those repro stickers on that VF-0A?
  22. Well, either way, I still think they're good pix.
  23. Looks pretty good to me.
  24. I don't know... I've been looking for an excuse to buy another VF-0...
  25. Two words: I like.
