    Actually, between Enterprise and the new films I'd say we've learned that ST is better on the big screen in 2 hour action packed chunks. 1 is an awesome movie btw, much better than when it was "The Changeling."

    Saying the new moviea are just mindless action is a fair amount of hater talk. You don't have to have a crap-ton of existential technobabel to have a message. And for the record, I enjoy the new movies as much as I enjoy TOS, TNG, and both movie series.

    Seems to be an American fan culture thing that tries to stipulate you can only like "one" thing. Take a look at anime fandom, imagine if you could only like Macross or Gundam or Yamato, or Votoms, or well, tgere'd be hundreds of sub fandom gangs!

    Voyager was crap, Enterprise was lesd crappy, but still. Insurection & Nemesis were super disappointing. The recent two films were fun good action movies with ST theme. As long aa that continues, I'm good.

    Tsukinonogatari, Durarara x2, & the Egypt arc of Jojo Stardust Crusaders are all about to start. Later this year, Knights of Sidonia & Workong!! will be back.

    Got my animeigo BGC blu ray set today. Not quite up to the Gunbuster & Macross remasters, but still very pretty.

    Even open ended, I'd still lke to see it all done. At least Monogatari is all greenlit, and admittedly, a superior story.

    They keeep teasing elements from Yamato 2 like Hijikata and Gatlantis. There's also a pretty big potential lead in to "The New Voyage" & "Be Forever Yamato."
