    Was the manga actually popular? I know it has another writer, and as such, reeks of terrible fanfiction. It's only been one episode, and due to morbid curiosity I'll continue, but I wish Asakura would go on a murderous rampage and put this show out of its misery.

    RESSURECTION! Has any one else watched the first ep one The Disappeatance Of Yuki Nagato-Chan? First impressions: -Kyom doesn't sound right at all. I didn't even think it was the same acyor until the apology scene at Yuki's apartment. It's almost like he forgot how to channel Kyon until having to play stressed and manic. Very weird. - Almost the same issue with the Yuki. Where's my monotone alien cyber-witch? Disappearance movie Yuki was still "Yuki" and Haruhi-Chan Yuki was still Yuki, but this nee incarnatiom is just too damnef emotive. She's supposed to be burned out anc pissed off from 10,000 years of Endless Eight, so wtf is up with "I just wanted to try turkey." If this series is supposed to be canon with the movie, it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth. If it's supposed to replace the movie, then I don't want it. Oh, and the character designs are garbage.

    Actually, and this is sheet conjevture based on what they the making of Shadow Chronicles doc, I'm pretty sure HG can only safely play with Mospeada properties in a new production, since that was the only weries Tatsunoko 100% held.

    It took me a couple watches to appreciate part 3, given that it's such an epically bad end for Shogo. But, it does have its merits.

    I saw that too (also a backer), I was very pleasantly surprised by the Satelight announcement. Gourmet Girl Graffiti is another good cooking anime. It's by the same director as Madoka & Monogatari Series.

    Manga is still running (free on crunchyroll), and there was a prequel movie last August.

    Whether you love or hate the fanservice, Muv-Luv was also handled much better than A/Z. Maybe a sequel will pop up that actually explains things.

    And that season is over: Cross Ange: A/Z: This show could have used about 25 more eps, sone real backstory on Vers, and a more drawn out resolution. Parasyte: I'm all around happy here. Kantai Collection: MORE!! Note: Yurikuma is gonna take me sn extra week 'cus I'm watching the hulu stream. But even if they swap out the last ep with Aldnoah Zero, this show is still infinite win.
