    While I don't dislike this versiom, it is missing a lot of heart. Especially when you look at the story Yurikuma aas able to tell in 12 short episodes on a regular weekly schedule. Toei was foolish not to pay Kunihiko Ikuhara stupid boatloads of money to come back and direct. I just looked up the guy they hired to direct Crystal. He's mainly done a few DBZ movies. Brilliant choice!

    At this point, I fully expect anything. I'm personally rooting for a reveal that all 4 movies actually take place during the period of time that the people of Atlantis were first spreading across the Earth, and that the story is a prequal to Nadia and Gunbuster.

    I don't know, I thought the live action Ferngully was pretty true to the original.

    Votoms is a great show, slow in parts, but the 2nd and 4th arcs make up for any short commings in the first and 3rd.

    Initially, Khara did the newer films as a co-venture with Gainax. From the looks of things, Anno made enough boat loads of cash off the rebuild movies to fully buy the Eva series license away from Gainax. Can't remember where the news story was (think it was anime news network), but you can verify it by checking out the official Eva page (eva.co.jp), and just about any of the new blu-ray box set listings, whch all list the copyright belonging to "カラー" (Khara). This is probably the reason the tv series was pulled from international distribution. I wish Anno would buy Macross from Tatsunoko...

    The only real questiom is, how many games will it store.Also, I kinda want to wait until they have one that does Sega CD, 32X, N64, Saturn, and PC Engine CD games too.
