  1. Whatever happens, should the 25th anniv project turn out to be a big finale, it just makes sense for Shin & Sara to return with the AFOS.
  2. Meh, I'll stick with the original release for now.
  3. Not a movie, but Gunbuster fits in perfectly. Galaxy Express 999 Adieu Galaxy Express 999 Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 Movie Trilogy Tenchi Muyo In Love Gall Force Otaku No Video Megazone 23 etc
  4. I'm impressed with the trailer too, hell, I'd be willing to say it's the best SW trailer ever...hopefully they'll include it on the DVD.
  5. Apple? I thought it was orange.
  6. "Z to the O to the double-R O..." Zorro? It's from the "glove slap" episode of the simpsons
  7. I still don't see why you guys see Plus as anthing different from 7 & Zero...
  8. Considering Kawamori seems to have little trouble doing new shows, I doubt Big West would turn him down if he wanted to do another Macross sequel. While popularity isn't at a high right now, Macross has never really slouched in sales. Besides, BW promised us that "MACROSS WILL CONTINUE IN THE FUTURE!"
  9. I say Zero is the prelude to a big epic Macross movie/OVA finale.
  10. Volume five will come with the fifth episode (which is either 45 or 60 minutes long rather than 30, so it's more than a regular episode) as well as the "Sentou Yousei Shoujo Tasukete! Mave-chan" OVA. Wait, has Sentou Yousei Shoujo Tasukete! Mave-chan officially been announced? Yes - announced at Katsucon when they said Yukikaze was being split into three volumes. Cool, I'm fully satisfied then.

  12. Hmm, I like that the SEED movies are being released in a set, but I don't like that the SEED epilogue won't be included with the TV release, but at least it will be with the movies. Bandai would be better off publicly announcing this sooner than later in a press release announcement for the movies box. Otherwise fans are going to get pissed off its not included with vol 10 (I know I would have been). I'm also surprised Yukikaze is being split into 3 volumes. I assume 2 will have episodes 3 & 4, while 3 will soley be 5. Hopefully they'll have a box included with vol 3. Perhaps we'll get that parody OVA included as well. BTW, how "soon" did Destiny sound? Possibly this year? I hate waiting!
  13. Hummmm well. I can recall how Graham went crazy about the CM's Minmay.... I even remember him fantasizing (and later posting the pictures) about the Underwear Concert she gave to Hickaru... Later our Anti-Tranny G-Man even changed his signature to something like "Minmai's underwear" Wen questioned about his sig, he clearly said he was her panties... So, I guess you are in the wrong site if you think taking a pic of a plastic ass is going too far. Carefull you may end banned I entirely missed this, is there a link to that topic around anywhere?
  14. All so they could sell it again through HG, with glitchy disc's & a crapped up mix of a 5.1 soundtrack. Bastards!
  15. Actually, I'm pretty sure those where there when I got the disc's. Then I'd chalk it up to the specific batch of plastic used, I guess. *shrugs* Are the clear swirl marks that you see on the the hub? Because that is most likely just the adheisive that was used to seal the discs. This might explain it better: http://www.memorexlive.com/data/dvd_hubs.pdf Does it look like PDF slide #4? Yup, that's exactly what they look like.
  16. Or you can pick up the HK DVD's. Go for the FX sets (vol 1 & 2) they are the most complete as far as episodes, OVA's, & extra's.
  17. Actually, I'm pretty sure those where there when I got the disc's.
  18. Checked mine, and I have no cracks, though I did notice some discoloration of the center ring on some disc's (they're all clear, but some have funky swirls around the ring). I also switched all my cases from the yin/yang hubs to those newer ones that Bandai is using for disc's like SEED, so hopefully that will help things. Does anyone else have that funky discoloration though? And I assume everyone has those yin/yang hub cases?
  19. Hmm, I also have a first generation set, haven't watched in a few months though, but I'll check my disc's later to see how they're hanging. I'll be superbly pissed if they start breaking down though. Given that I don't have a DVD-R drive, I'll have to pick up the FX set or something. Perhaps the world just doesn't want us to be Macross fans?
  20. ....Something about that line-art doesn't look right to me, and I've figured out what it is.
  21. And the "Rick Hunter" played him in the TV series dub....Lupan hasn't been a very lucky fellow.
  22. Scottish? Now I've heard everything!
  23. I've been wondering this for years. Way back when, I remember a commercial for a Destro figure with removable mask (allowing you to see his actual face), it was limited edition, etc, and there was at least a small hub-bub about it. Now since I didn't collect G.I. joe figures, and didn't know anyone who had that particular one, I'm just curious if anyone here did. And if so....was he indeed black? Becaue I always found it somewhat tweaked that the second in charge of Cobra had to be covered up in silver just because hw was a black man!
  24. Didn't the Japanese Gamecube Twin Snakes limited edition release get ports of the MSX (or perhaps NES) Metal gear? That could have easily been packed in with MGS3.
  25. You kids are lucky. Back in my day, the only way to see DYRL proper, was to track down a fansub, or buy the VHS Hong Kong dub.....
