  1. To be fair, it's damn near impossible to find a decent picture of the Megaroad, though I remember seeing a decent scan over in the fanworsk section not that long ago.
  2. I still have the not even remotely realistic hope that sony will sell some kind of import support firmware as a downloadable extra...
  3. For the record, it was the Megaroad-13 fleet, the Varuta expedition that came looking for the Megaroad-13, and the Macross 5 fleet.
  4. Japanese Gundam SEED Destiny game, latest in the series of Vs. It even has the custom Meer Zaku!
  5. Definately awesome for those who don't already have the R2 set, as it's a way to get the 4th bonus disc, and honestly, if it had subtitles, I'd go for it. But since it doesn't, no point in getting a half breed set
  6. Gundam Vs Zeta is insanely fun. The latest in the series is out in a couple weeks, Alliance Vs Zaft II Plus.
  7. Dare I saw G-Saviour's CG looked better, or is that too cruel?
  8. The majority of anime gets about as much international appeal consideration as the majority of U.S. TV series. Do you honestly think they're writing episodes of the Simpsons with the concern of how they'll do in Japan?
  9. Why didn't they hire Makoto Shinkai's group, they do far better 2D & 3D CG in their indepenet projects, and with a much shorter turn around time. The battles in Voices of a Distant star were much better than what's in this trailer, and the overall animation quality of A Place Promised in our Early Days easily blows this away. It looks far more like HG scalped the remaining hardware from when Netter Digital went under, than hired DR MOVIE who this doesn't even remotely look like). Definately fishy!
  10. I honestly don't see why Macross "needs" to continue. If Kawamori gives us one final bang-up movie, OVA, or series to wrap things up, I'd be quite happy. I don't see it as a franchise that needs to continue infinitum, and most certainly not one that needs to be ruined by "new blood." If you want that, there's Gundam, and as much as I like Gundam, I don't want it in my Macross.
  11. Meh, to hell with Resistence, I want to see PS3 Ratchet & Clank!
  12. What's that got to do with Janice looking like a robotic crackwhore in the trailer!
  13. Definately gonna have to disagree with you there, Macross Plus was pretty shallow on character developement, especially compared to 7.
  14. What about Invasion America.......ok, I've stopped laughing now.
  15. Could have sworn I said that a couple weeks ago... Aside from the official CG in the trailer, Janice looks like a crack whore. This is going to be the best robotech movie ever!
  16. Don't forget Alliance Vs Zaft II Plus is out in a couple weeks. Meer custom Zaku!!
  17. Maybe it's just a clever rouse, and he's actually working on the "Jenius Party" series!
  18. Not really, Plus & 7 actually share a lot in common. Like it or not, Isamu is Basara with live ammo.
  19. Much like the 360, things will pick up once the tightened up hardware, and "good" games pop up. Give it 6 months or so. I'm so over the PS3 launch now, I'm thinking of picking up a PSP & Ace Combat X instead for now...plus Mobile Ops.
  20. Wait a minute there. -Singing pilots? Check! You apparently forgot about the Sharon Apple controlled Ghost X9 -Bird people? Check - You also apparently forgot about Sharon's very APHOS like appearance in the Movie Eidtion during the "Wanna Be An Angel" scene. As well as the huge freaking Dino-Bird. BOMBA!
  21. Hmm, any word yet on whether or not the Wii can play Turbo CD, Sega CD, Saturn, or Dreamcast disc's?
  22. Spongebob ain't got nuthin' on Angry Beavers. And if I used too many words for you, please feel free to go watch spongebob instead of reading.
  23. Hmm, perhaps congress should try to ban system launches, and leave the violent games alone!
  24. Watch the movie, the intro speaks about the wave motion energy that flows through out the universe, and is created by all living things. The Protodevelin go as far as to detail that different types of people/living things generate different types of spirtia. The whole existence of the Protodevelin in this universe was due to the Protoculture running experiments on tapping energy sources from different dimensions. Assumedly, the Protodevelin exist in a dimension comprised entirely of energy, though the details of whether it's all sentient energy, or whether the Protodevelin exist as seperate entities because that energy was tapped & placed into seperate entities is unclear. What is clear, is that like all living things, life has to feed on other life to sustain itself, and being pure energy beings, the Protodevelin feed off of similar energy sources. i.e. living things = batteries. Anima Spiritia appears to be too strong a wattage for them to stomach, though as shown by Sivil, with enough effort they can adapt to it. Being living things, the Protodevelin give off their own spiritia as well, the solution that Basara found being to show them the ability to generate their own renewable energ source, so they wouldn't have to feed off of others.
