  1. Yes, but I also have super hearing
  2. That also tends to be the same bunch who miss many such problems, and in the past haven't minded so much when company's "accidentlly" stick them with mono japanese audio. So I wouldn't take their analysis too seriously.
  3. I'm sorry, but Homer's specific position is that of a "Sector 7-G Operator" far too specific to be a coincidence. Speaking of which, has there been any news on the Megazone 23 remake yet?
  4. It occurs to me that either A: these people haven't seen sailor moon, or B: they're just taking pot shots.
  5. rightstuf is awesome. Speaking of which, they seem to have gotten some stock of Gasaraki too.
  6. Don't forget Bodolza's reaction to seeing the "Shao Pai Lone" footage, recognizing Kaifun's powers in the film.
  7. Robotech made the animation worse by really half assed work in the re-editing process, washing out the colors, throwing off the brightness, and bringing the overall quality down a generation. And while the actual animatoin quality (i.e. quality of the designs) isn't terribly consistent, a top episode of Macross (27 for example) is still superior to the animation on shadow chronicles.
  8. considering they shipped out their initial stock well before the street date eariler this month, it's doubtful that it got pushed back. Perhaps Best Buy's ordering people are just slow to snag honeamise titles.
  9. It's just too bad Global isn't russian
  10. I just took a look at CPM's official page, and it looks like they still have it for sale directly from themselves. https://secure.centralparkmedia.com:1443/cp...m?Cat=USMD_2515
  11. Nope, pretty sure it was thorougly covered. But then if the SA did spontaniously pop back up, it would merely take Basara to snap them out of it, which would result in, first (technically second) contact with Protoculture citizens. Wouldn't make for much of a conflict.
  12. The only robotech VA I can stomach is Richard Epcar, for some reason he doesn't annoy me as much as the rest. And regardless of Mari's dialogue difficulties (i.e. her accent) she far outclasses the rest of ADV's stable of dub actors.
  13. Glad I pre-ordered direct from them last year then. These limited run classic anime releases are annoying. It took me months to track down the second Nadia collection from OVA, which I found just recently. Of course it's my own damn fault for not picking it up 2 years ago, but that's neither here nor there.
  14. Who know's what would have happened if Turn-A Space actually came about...aside from extreme awesomeness. I'd love to see Gaia Gear done into something too, but someone would probably have to stick a major bug up Tomino's ass for it to happen.
  15. Japanese dubi s always better damnit!
  16. I'm actually surprised HG didn't digitize the comics themselves & include a PDF on the DVD, would have made a hell of a lot more sense.
  17. I say get the HK DYRL dub cast + Mari! Far superior to both robotech & ADV's Macross. NOW WATCH JET JOCKEY! Seriously though, if I had to sit through a dub of Macross, it would definately be ADV's dub over robotech. I think you're all forgetting how melodramatic & hackneye'd those robotech actor's were. Original music + Mari + lack of way over-narration = superior dub. Say what you will about her accent, but she was the only one ADV's dub cast who could pronunce the names correctly.
  18. Nope, Zentradi took out the Supervision Army. If there were any left, they would have popped up to help out the Protodevelin, as that was their soul purpose.
  19. No, CPM is supposedly out of the red now, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'd contact rightstuf.com, as they say it's on order from manufacturer, and they're usually pretty good about dropping listings when something goes OOP.
  20. Supervision Army are dead, get over it!
