    Only 500 mb of onboard storage? Wow, no wonder the thing is so cheap. The least they could have done was put out for a whole gig.

    Once I saw how tiny the Wii was, I immediately imaged it as the perfect replacement for bulky old systems. I don't see why nintendo doesn't consider doing it, since it really isn't that different from the downloaded emu's.

    Besides which, 7 is full of hot blooded pilot rock & roll action. Something the franchise desperately needed!

    If Nintendo would release some kind of update that'd let the Wii play actual Saturn & or Sega CD disc's, I'd run out & get one now!

    I don't think Zero was ever meant to stand alone. All hints we have right now point to it being a prelude to F. If that's true, then all should be explained.

    As surprising as Emma was, nothing tops Uso's mom in V. That is one of the single most screwed up moments in anime that doesn't involve tentacles.

    Sure now I'm all excited, but it's waiting for the DVD release that's murder.. Hopefully it'll at least get a subtitled R3.

    Meh, apparently my DVD player hates imaginasian's DVD-R's (from volume 2 & onward), which is no big surprise considering imaginasian said as much was likely to happen. The good news is, they seem to play ok in my rom drive & PS3. True my player is almost 9 years old, but it's great with everything else that isn't defective. I'm definately enjoying Orguss more this time around with the better translation, though imaginasian has made some odd naming choices. "Mhoo" isntead of "Mu," & Muum" instead of "Momu," but still better than the HK set & its evil robot empire of "timmy."

    Hmm, a multi-player sidescrolling modern shooter. We need to get scientists on this right away!

    Damn it, you got my hopes up for a new anime! Speaking of which, whatever happened with the Megazone 23 remake? Did it just turn out to be the PS3 game?

    It's definately the culmination of everything awesome Gainax has done +. A quick note about ADV's release. The translator has popped up in one of the topics about it, and it looks like the "hell" was only taken out of Simon's dialogue at the beginning of the first episode because he says something slightly different than what Kamina says. It will still be there in Kamina's dialogue. Haven't been able to get any comments on the "Team Gurren" thing, but hopefully enough people will have bitched to inspire them to fix that.

    Look at it this way. If they hadn't left at all, the Yamato would still be mothballed, & the crew broken up. This way everyone got a good warm up before the big fight. Finish watching, there is epicness in that last half.

    It has the same blood type as the Nome's, but I don't remember anything being said about it reacting to their blood. i.e. you can't use blood to see through the AFOS's eyes, but you can mentally connect with it to do so. The Shamen training may have been geared around mentally connecting with it.

    The audio pops are through the whole movie, and yes they're audible on regular DVD players. Most of them are in the left channel, but it'd probably be far more trouble than its worth to tack them on without professional tools to deal with it.

    Hard work & guts? Probably just luck of the draw, that & I pounced on the pre-order as soon as it went up.

    Got my Orguss box yesturday, & popped in the first disc to take a look. The quality is much better than what I was expecting. I'd heard some horror stories about the video, but it looks like that's just from people who don't know what older shows are supposed to look like. Overall, I'd say it looks better than the HK set. While the audio is indeed mono, it's quite clear & crisp, and livable considering the unlikelyhood of getting this released over here. As long as the disc's hold up for long haul, I'd definately reccomend this set. I just wish Imaginasian used factory pressed disc's.
