Actually, I doubt Sheryl's a cyborg at all. I think the alterations made to her were genetic. Remember the dialogue in the recap episode about her being Fair # whatever it was, in the abscence of having Ranka around, they fiddled with Sheryl's body/DNA to give her the same properties of Ranka (likely the Nome Shamen gene). Something tells me this is all going to tie in with the flying rocks that you all hated from Zero. But it's obviosuly a process which isn't difficult for Grace to perform, since she wasn't too concerned with loosing either Sheryl or Ranka on Galia 4. Right now it's looking to me like there will turn out to be some kind of Protoculture Midiclorians, either the virus/crystals in Ranka's belly is the component passed down in the Nome family that lets them control/use PC technology, or something along those lines. Jumping back into pure speculation, the whole deal with the V-Virus may be that Mao's DNA wound up slipping into the populace during the post war cloning. Perhaps what allowed Sara/Mao to control the AFOS/PC flying rocks was a genetic key, likely something the PC could have used to ensure not just anyone could run aorund & pilot their high end bio-tech AFOS like super mecha, but for whateve rreason, perhaps cloning it, or implanting it artificially causes Sheryl's illness. Cosmo nature indeed. The new wildcard here is that picture being taken in November 2047. The events with the Ginga Kujira happened in Spring 2047 according to the compendium. And yes, I'm still trying to tie that in with things, it could very well be that the completion of the GK/Zolan leftover PC test is what initiated the release of the Vajra in the universe. Both the Vajra & GK have something to do with a biologically bred folding ability. I don't know, but that all seems a bit too coincidental.

Nishizaki is looney toons, and not in the entertaining kind of way. He already proved with Odin that he's borring as all hell without Matsumoto, just as Matsumoto has proved with everything he's ever done, that he's never needed Nishizaki. This is at least his 2nd attempt in the last 5-6 years to relaunch Yamato, after taking Matsumoto to court over series rights.

Man, I want Tron, Disc's of Tron, & TMNT the Arcade Game on the PSN... It also seems like kind of a bitch movie to kick the original creator of the project after working a couple years to restart it, but htat's stock disney.

The trailer looks like it's being done by someone who cares, if the movie is in the same hands, we should be safe. As for the original, I never found it borring, and still get as much enjoyment now as I did as a kid. Hell, I even loved the Kingdom Hearts 2 Tron world they did. And now that I think about it, they even got Bruce Boxlightener to reprise his voice in that, so I doubt he'd pass up the offer to be in an actual sequal.

Also, to be fair to the Gurren Lagann DVD's, it's not like Bandai usually puts more extra's than clean openings/endings anyway, so again, it's not like anything aside from a bad dub is missing.

Dubs always lack passion, & or acting prowess that is present in the original versions. That's nothing new.

Whenever a US company gets balls enough to tell HG to stick it up their rears, and licenses Frontier. I'm currently hoping Funimation does it, since Bandai seems to be doing they're usual runaround with the issue.

The question is, would Jeff Bridges bother to pop in if it were just a promo reel? I'm leaning more towards the in production side. Thinking back, everyone did return for the 2 disc DVD special features/documentaries, all seemed to be in good spirits, so likely, anyone asked back would come. With that said, I just watched "War Games: The Dead Code" .... while not the worst piece of trash I've seen, TR2N almost has to be infinately better than that.

Are the survival matches always after 6? As for the mic problems, they're still there, though pehaps they're not as bad durring survival.
