  1. Actually, at this point, considering the high-ish level of simitry with the original series, since episode 25 pretty much ended with the end battle crux (comparatively ep 27 of Macross), the movie could likely cover the post war aftermath, colonization, etc.
  2. The real question is, how many releases of Shadow Chronicles will it take to get this thing off the ground, they're up to what, 3 now?
  3. I actually got the impression that the Judah system was the restraint system put on the A.I. As for having highly illegal hardware such as bio-nueral cihps, if the boy can get ahold of Dimension Eaters, why the hell wouldn't he be able to get ahold of those.
  4. Does anyone else find Megaman 9 to be unusually cruel? Having played 1-7 (i'll get around to 8 one of these years) and X (I'll play the rest of those too, have the PS2 collections for ease), I poke around a couple of 9's stages, and damn, super mean.
  5. I only glance every so often, but the undeniable quality for now is definately undiable even to them.
  6. It was definately the Vajra queen singing from her hugely lit up green belly.
  7. Quick sidenote, even the rt.comers are at a full state of praise for this series, and sobbing over what they were given for their sequal.
  8. Yeah, I 'd expect much better from the forum who invented the "Holy Floating head" & "Kawamori smoking a bong" isms....
  9. Ok, I've just watched the subbed version (very much enhancing teary eyed moments), and its definately confirmed that the Vajra are as old as/older than the Protoculture, and implied that PC technology could indeed be influenced by the Vajra. (the bit about the PC fearing/adoring to the point of mimicing them), which opens up whole new cans of worms. Could the Vajra be the reason for the PC civil war split? Frontier Vs Galaxy on a much larger scale? Nice nod to Plus with Luca freeing his Ghosts from their limiters to give them back the power that held Macros city in fear. An awesome episode all around actually, I'm definately happy with the series. Still not clear on where this will fit in with the grander scheme of things though, could Ginga Kujira be an earlier evolution of Vajra that feel off the grander path? Was it pure dumb luck that the Protodevelin didn't come across the Vajra? We clearly need more pre-human history info now, and hopefully that next movie will deliver.
  10. PSN newbies, don't forget, if you pick up MGS4, come play Metal Gear online with us, SMS is open to all Macrossworlders, and I'd love to stick it to some of those uppity clans en mass
  11. OMG I just realized something...THE 11TH FLEET IS WHERE KAIFUN LIVES! WHY DIDN'T THE VAJRA KILL KAIFUN!!!
  12. Grace was Sharon Apple, she wanted absolute control over everyone/thing. Leon was just power hungry, he wanted to own the Frontier fleet, probably would have evolved it into a fascist dictatorship.
  13. -Bilner wanting to use the hyper fold network to meet Minmay -Frontier settling down on the planet as the ending, with an apparent cohabitation with the Vajra !
  14. Either Ranshe was asbsorbed into the Vajra conciousness (likely), or the Vajra use Ranshe from Ranka's memories to communicate with her. But either way, it's Ranshe's voice. You'll recall the same voice the first time the Vajra tried to conmunicate with Ranka when they captured her. I totally f*cking called that! BOMBA! I also called the landing on planet cohabitation with Vajra ending too. Very satisifying ending despite the lack of actual story closure. Why should we believe Grace is any more dead this time than she was the last, aside from no longer having Battle Galaxy to run home to. Do we have a track list for OST2? Because I really really want that mantage mix, that was so f*cking great. Considering Kawamori has played the Minmay card with Bilner now, even if it was a picture from DYRL (meaning its more likely a movie poster than an actual picture of Minmay), I think we actually can look forward to an explanation of what happened to the Megaraod sometime in the future. Overall, Frontier felt rushed in a lot of area's, but it works, and I enjoyed it. 7 remains my favorite though.
  15. ::GRUMBLE GRUMBLE:: guess I'll just go to work....I hate you internet....!
  16. OH INTERNET, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME NOW!!
  17. LUCKY STAR OVA COMMERCIAL IS AWSOME!
  18. ALL OUT GRACE ASSAULT, DID i MISS ANYTHING BEFORE THE CREDITS?? AHH!
  19. This will be totally worth coming in late for work for
  20. i've decided I'm just not meant to see this show. Every time I even think about watching/dvr'ing it for later, it always winds up magically being after the thing broadcasts. Ok, I just watch a bit of streaming episode...why can the car transform into a truck? Into ugly pimped up mode I can kinda understand, but a truck??? This show seems more like a lowtech way to exploit transformers movie kitchyness than to do a knight rider show.
  21. Actually, that's really not a bad place to stop. A new series can quite easily pick up years later after Frontier has settled on this planet, leaving plenty of opportunity for solving more Protoculture/Vajra mysteries as inhabitants investigate their new planet. I just hope it doesn't take years to make.
  22. Pretty sure 25 was annnounced as the finale, and seriously, wtf with no nuns history lesson by now.
  23. It involves magic flying bicycles, and huge bouncing tits.
  24. Yuri should be a part of everyone's interests, but regardless, nee-san incredibly common in anime.
