  1. I say we al go down to the HG booth during the next AX, hug the HG staff, and tell them "it's ok", that they don't need to pretend anymore, and that their fanbase will understand they have absolutely notihing to give them but regurgitated toys, cell phone games, and empty promises! Then we'll all go out for pie!!
  2. Even more surprising, Ray didn't drag Basara back after getting the bill for the "borrowed" VF-19P... Still waiting for the Pink Monsoon single before mine ships.
  3. Looks like it's something else they're saving for the next game, and conisdering this game was pretty much top down new, I don't fault them for it.
  4. While the Quarter is entirely useless unleveled, you have to remember that's "The Macross Quarter," and merely shooting star enemies with missiles would be a waste of its talents. Melee, melee, melee! leveled up, its's actually quite formidable, with some nice melee combo's to boot.
  5. Tim-Tom & Kevin with a bomb though? That doesn't even involve a knife!
  6. Drop the head as soon as the enemies pop up, tear them a new one, the backtrack for the head & carry it to the goal.
  7. Nope, on the second part, go directly for Bodolza. The S/SS rank (I believe) comes in from (aside from taking no damage) taking out the Zentradi ships before Bodolza goes all alley killer. When the countdown starts, try as hard as you can to take out both ships in the center (no new ones will respawn until after the cannon blast), so you don't lose those points to Bodolza. Should raise your grade if you can do it and gtfo of there before getting hit.
  8. Totsugeki Love Heart!
  9. To much to level up & too many characters to build relationships with. i'd just play through the missions again in order iwth your favorite.
  10. Definately uncommonly long from them. Did you get a tracking number for whichever carrier they used?
  11. Feature packed, or at the very least with the extened versions of I & II.
  12. Permanent ban from MW! Also, turn in your copy of MUF to the appropriate authorities, you've lost right to play it!!
  13. Not sure what version I'm going to get yet, but on a similar topic, has anyone checked out the other ST movie sets yet? Are they as half assed as I've heard? At all worth the upgrade?
  14. I miss the old days of FTP....memories
  15. Probably have to finish out the era's first, as that was the requirement in MAF. Though really, it'll be up for purchase in the Nyan Nyan shop before that.
  16. Hmm, unrelated note, have you seen any copies of Macross Frontier Vol 5 + Box around, or is that still super OOP?
  17. After seeing Fast Pack Klan Klan in MUF, I have new faith that the gods of Macross do pay attention to the wishes of us distant International Macross fans, and that there is a chance they may smile upon us with a re-animated SDF Macross.
  18. Ah the AFOS, impervious to everything except SOUND BOOSTERS! Long live the VF-19 Kai! Though even the Kai has been scaled back slightly in MUF, MAF let you spam the special as long as you had enough SP, MUF won't let you SP Attack again until the first one wears off. There are just soo many special little touches in this game. Try flying in the middle of Saturns rings, and you'll not only see ice fragments, but "the rainbow of saturn." All of the 19's wings now sweet back when you boost. A lot of care went into this game.
  19. WTF did operator do in Ace Frontier anyway? As near as I can tell, useless chatter. Being able to tell your wingman to use their SP attack is "far" more usefull. But basically, command skill is now the new pilot skill option. It works exactly the same, but now you hit X + Missile to activate it. Auto Skill is an additional bonus skill, haven't seen a full translation, but it does things like give you more Tune or Nyan Nyan points, and a ton of other options. This happens automatically if you have your support character equipped with it. The new button combo's go: -Melee + Missile = SP Attack -Melee + Missile + Block (L) = Dual SP Attack (provided you & your partner have enough SP) -Boost + Missile = Command Skill -Boost + Primary = Anti-Missile -Primary + Block (L) = Weapon Switch -Target + Crosspad = Target Switch As you see most things are still the same. But you'll come to appreciate the select menu lower ooption command (which used to be operator) during boss fights, since sometimes you just don't have enough SP, and making your partner unleash death can save your ass big time. It was something that had been in the Gundam Battle games, but was curiously left out of Ace Frontier.
  20. It's the 1959 Caddilac of Fast Packs. Serioiusly!
  21. Also, set Ranka & Sheryl as support characters as soon as their avaliable. Befriending both drops shop prices.
  22. For one thing, the 2 different type of gunpod attacks have been done away with. This time, all Valkyries (save the VF-17's & VF-171's) can have their gunpods unloaded without a care (no more tap tap tap for heavier gunpods). But yes, the VF-25's are full of at least 10 kinds of awesome. -Fast Packs -Armored Packs -Super Death kill Armored packs with reaction weapons & Michials rifle -Sound Boosters But damn those armored packs are just as awesome as you'd expect them to be, if not more so. And yes, the VF-171 EX(s) now have the proper canopy.
  23. You missed absolutely nothing. Never saw the mariachi trilogy, spy kids is garbage, and sin city is overrated narration that won't stfu garbage!
  24. Yeah, though I've put it on backburner between MGO & MUF. It plays like a "good" version of Crossfire. Meaning, same style of game, except it's not broken glitchy & full of suck. I've only played through 3-4 missions, but dare I say it's even...fun!
