First and foremost, understand that you can switch your target lock by holding up (stronger enemies) down (weaker enemies) or left/right (general switch, and the one you want to use for this mission) while hitting the target button (circle in most cases). Also note that if you pause, it will show you a map with all enemies on screen. With that said combo's also play a alrge part, and while the Sound Force Valkyries are awesome for taking out waves of enemies, they don't get you combo points. To S/SS this mission, absolutely under no circumstances should you take on either battleship before the waves of Quadran Rau have stopped. Check your map, look out for the new enemy appeared message, and switch your targets. Do "not" shoot those ships. Once all the Q-Rau have stopped, feel free to unload hot death upon them. The same goes for Chlore, "do not shoot her" under about 2-3 waves of Q-Rau have come and been taken out. Check your map, and once she's the last one there, and no others have appeared, take her out. Use a strong unit though, or she'll eat you alive.

I'm actually gonnna say Basara's singing has nothing at all to do with Minmay. From what very little info we're given about his childhood, it's doubtful he would have even heard of Minmay. Basara sings to move mountains, to change the universe, and because he can. I'd say it's more accurate that Ray, Max, & Chiba chose Basara because they believe in the legend of Minmay, but Basara would sing regardless.

Speaking of which, I was kinda dissapointed Jet alone didn't make some kind of appearance in the movies, so many comical opportunities there.

How can Gainax be wrong if the anime itself is the very source that infers Touji's sister is in the Eva? And really, considering how long he would have been in the hospitol with those injuries, you're forgetting a very important incident that easily covers Nerv's ass. Specifically, an angel succeeds in getting into the GeoFront, takes out a ton of poo, and "easily" could be blamed for the Death of Touji's sister. Even if that hadn't happened, they could have claimed she fell into a coma why not. But that's besides the point, because as Pete & I have already shown, 00 blows away the whole "only the pilot's mother" theory. Again, none of this goes against Gainax, just extrapilates from what they do give us. Some other things to note here, Gendou was never after "instrumentality," as he couldn't have possibly cared one way or the other. He just needed enough events set into motion so that he could become a "god," and join Yui. And Nerv's only real competetive threat was Seele, whome by all apearances were doing far darker things than harvesting souls!

I wish Simone & Yoko had finally gotten together sometime after, but the fear of relationship jinx on both of them would have been too great.

Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title

The whole digital copy thing is a bunch of back handed B.S. Also, buy a bluray player! -
Again, the key here is that Touji was the only child in class (a well known fact btw is that all the children in Shinji's class were candidates) that coul dhave a core immediately prepaired. If say Kenske (who's mother was also dead) had a dead mother's soul on tap in storage, then he would have been an equaly immediate choice. The fact that he actually had an interest in being a pilot would have made him a "better" choice. But in the realm of story telling, especially a mystery story, the proof is in the clue's strewn about. Touji never mentions his mother, Kenske does mention his mother, but more in a bonding reference. Touji is "very" attached to his sister. Touji's sister is very seriously injured. Rei has no mother, or rather, Rei is the mother of "all." Rei synch's with Eva Unit-00 through a splinter of her own self, which sets the precedent for it being more necessary to synch with a close "female" influence, rather than an absolutely specific mother. And here's the real clincher, Touji's sister (a character whom we're actually semi-familair to, though only in repeated reference). is moved to a Nerv medical facility at the same time a core (which by all official references, has to be a close female influence in the pilots life) can be prepaired. So you tell me which makes more sense and is illuded to. Touji's mother who is never mentioned, or Touji's sister. This reminds me if debates of old where people swore it was Misato that killed Kaji, even though she was in lock up with no gun or secuirty card (to get in or out of Nerv) at the time.

The Angel "occupied" Unit-03 when it flew through that storm cloud. As for being berated by his sister, specific dialogue?
-
-Unit-00: The Core is comprised of part of Rei's own soul, upon its destruction, Rei becomes unified agian, and remembers she's Lilith. -Unit-01: Yui Ikari's Soul -Unit-02: Asuka's Mother -Unit-03: What just happened in the series? Touji's sister was seriously injured at the beginning of the series. Touji's conidtion for becoming the pilot of Unit-03 was to have his sister moved to Nerv's personal hospitol. Ritsuko upon noting that a "core" could be easily setup for Touji, also very quickly agreed to have his sister "moved." Combine all that with the "cores" of all known (non-dummy plug) Eva's requiring the soul of a female loved one for the pilot to synch with, and damn, how could you possibly say that wasn't hinted at. As for EoE, the damn thing was scene for scene matched up with the TV ending, just in far more awesome detail. If you can't see that, then no amount of "interpretation," can help you understand Eva. What gets me are thsoe who say Eva was too abstract, or is open to whatever random interpretation they choose, simply because they weren't able to understand and follow the clearly drawn out path (as well as the support materials given) that Anno gave. If nothing else, go watch Proto-Eva, i.e.Nadia. But whatever, it'll take until the new movies are done before the remaining naysayers finally listen to what I'm saying.

If your PC has a memory stick slot, you can just pop it in there while playing through the song select, easiest way I've found to do it.
-
Have I participated in earlier pages of this specific topic? If so, read those posts. There is indeed "ONE" correct interpretation of the events in Eva, if you don't believe me, search any Eva topic I've participated in, and watch the series again.

Solution, fly solo!

Yup, I have all my PSP saves backed up on my PC for just such a random happening. BTW, have you (guy with the currupted save) tried starting a new game, and seeing if it would pull in any of your leveled stats? If it worked at all, worse case is you'd have to start fresh with the original charcters, but have everything else in tact. Maybe if you start a new game, and save to slot 2, it'll fix the rest of the save.

What Current Anime Series Are You Watching? v2.0

Eva makes perfect sense, you just ened to pay attention to what's actually going on, not what you "think" is going on. As for Orguss, it is fluff through much of it, but wait til you get to that epic final arc. In fact, when I finish Clone Wars season one, and rewatching Giant Robo, think I'll go back and rewatch Orugss. -
It was called "Star Trek Nemesis," and it sucked. Well that's not true, Nemesis actually rocked, when it was called "Wrath of Kahn." Besides, with a mining vessel, you have reasonable belief that much older federation ships would be able to somewhat hold their own against it, at least hold long enough to eject their crew & ram it. They wisely dropped their main plot hole with the whole being captured by Klingon thing. If they had left that in, then the major issue would have been why the Klingons didn't take a small fraction of that 25 years to dismantle t he mining vessel, and incorperate the new technology in their own ships. Hell, you saw how apeshit they went over "Genesis."
-
Ah, but that's not the end of the story. Studio Nue prophesized the corruption to the timeline, and left Macek explicit instruction on how to repair the damage, in the form of "Super Dimension Century Orugss," assuming Macek would realize the only way to undo the damage done would be for the present & future Macek's to kill themselves. Macek promptly ignored these instructions....

Freeplay you can get everyone out, using Veffidas as support.

Ok, I'll fold, where is Big West's HD remaster of Macross II on Blu-Ray so I can hopefully pay much less than I did for import Zero? Coem on BW/BV, pick up the ball and start putting out more Blu-Rays!
-
Nah, you see it's funny because Shadow Chronicles retcons the end of Mospeada and removes all but the 3 characters I mentioned, therefore none of those others characters exist anymore in Robotech.
-
Take out Britai lethally, but not too fast, a couple grunts will pop up during that part of the battle too. As for Ex status, just use the mecha that shows up in the picture when you highlight the mission.
-
It's impossible for wamzam to see what he saw. Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles clearly shows us there was no one but Aerial, the Invid Queen, & Scott Bernard, who is this Corg you speak of? There were only 3 characters in that show, now move on!
-
Well in that case, I have 100% ironclad solid proof that the Robotech live action movie is in production!
-
The true love triangle of 7 was Basara, Sivil, & Gigil, and really, after Sivil, would you settle for Mylene?
-
Yeah, well as a Macross fan I'm taking it back!

What Current Anime Series Are You Watching? v2.0

Galaxy Express is about 113 episodes, which is why I'd actually reccomend going for the movies first. -Galaxy Express 999 -Adeiu Galaxy Express 999: Final Station Andromeda Right up there with the finest of movie versions of TV shows, all 100% new animation to boot. As for Harlock, there were at least 2 seriess around 40-43 episodes each I believe. -Space Pirate Captain Harlock -Harlock SSX And hten of course the movies & OVA's -Arcadia of My Youth -Endless Odyssey -Harlock Saga: The Ring of Nibelung -Gun Frontier (suedo prequel done in the old west). As well as several crossover stories/series/OVA's that branch between the two general storeis: -Galaxy Express: Eternal Fantasy -Cosmo Warrior Zero (the story of Tetsuro's father during the fall of humanity to the machien empire) -Maetel Legend -Maetel Symphony -Queen Millenium (the birth of the machine empire). -Galaxy Railways And so on. Matsumoto's got a very interesting take on the concept of canon. Which is to say, he could give less of a crap about actual continuity between series, even between different verisons of the same series. But he loves having his characters connect through the shows. Kinda hard to explain, but it's a lot more nebulous, and a lot more whimsical than Kawamori's style of canon. But like I said, a great place to start iwth is with the 999 movies.
