    As an above average otaku, I understand the Shadow Chronicles qiute clearly, breast implants are standard eqiupment for all RDF female officers, saving ships with their crews completely dead (except for 1 robot) that have no strategic value is more important than saving their flagship with the last remaining source of superfuel, & taking technology from aliens then making it your mainline hardware does not require fuly investigating it and checking its safety first. Oh, and the most important thing I learned from it, "I really like that little skull on your uniform."

    I picked up Final Fantasy Unlimited a year or so ago for $20, so figured I'd give it a shot, and just recently started watching it.... Currently I'm debating on tossing it back into the bottom of my watch pile 5 episodes in, and nada!

    6 months is actually fast in OVA production time. it used to be you'd have to wait a year or two for some series to cotninue. Giant Robo was a major culprit, I think it was around 3-5 years from start to finish.

    Finding current in production subtitled DVD's is truly the hat trick. As for the movies, considering they're all 100% new animation + new take on the story, they actually come out better than both DYRL & Gundam for story compoosition.

    I've decided, the next thing you need to see is absolutely the Galaxy Express 999 movies (Galaxy Express 999, and Adeiu Galaxy Express 999: Final Station Andromeda). Those movies are the archetypes for what evolved into Gurren Lagann, not so much the super robot side, but the epic tale of passionate men side.

    Somewhere around 10 years ago, a Korean company released 999 & Adeiu on DVD with english subtitles, specifically Viz's subtitle script. Exactly where they got those subtitles from was a bit of a topic for debate back then, some thinking they "pirated" them, others believing they got them from Toei. Regardless, it was an official DVD release, and 999 is region 3, while Adeiu is all region, and as I just recently found out, they're even anamorphic, which made be incredibly happy. Unfortunately, the disc's seem to be OOP, but if you know of any shops that deal in Korean DVD's, you may luck out.

    There's a simple solution, get some red material, and a sharpie, and make some extra armbands to keep in your car. Next time they pull you over, offer them one, along with a pamphlet preaching the gosphel of Haruhi-ism. If that doesn't get them to leave you alone, nothing will.

    There actually were minor variations in the episodes, more so towards the end, and it should be noted that the voice cast "re-voiced" each and every episode, in addition to it being re-animated each time.

    You may hate changing disc's, but releasing the same stuff at the same old compression on a bluray is....inane!

    If Movie studio's listened to fan outrage, there would have been no summer blockbusters in the last 3 years alone The movie will be canceled on the merits of its total lack of marketablility alone, unfortunately for HG, they're a few years to late. That is unless they can get that company that made Transmorphers to do it.

    I don't know whether I should warn you about the second season or not, so I'll just say stick with it, for awesomeness prevails.

    HG actually run a chain of apartment buildings, and they use the money that "should" go to maintenance & repairs to mail out those letters. True story, Tom Bateman got fired because he refused to go clean the pools on his appointed day. And anytime Steve Yune says he's going off to play "Super mario Bros.", that just means he got called in to unclog some toilets.
