  1. Dude, move to the U.S., at the very least when the cops destroy your car, you can sue them!
  2. Might have to purchase the philosopher's legacy set to pay for it!
  3. OMG, will Wheaton would be the perfect old Rick Hunter, PART OFFICIALLY CASTED!
  4. My brother and I have been playing Peace Walker all night, awesome game, far too awesome to pack onto one tiny UMD. I hope any future console Metal Gear will have the co-op sneaking options this game has.
  5. You do realize the robotech fanbase will latch onto this as definate proof the movie is in production don't you?
  6. Foolish Hollywood, this concept would work sooo much better if it were a Gummy Bears movie!
  7. "Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk."
  8. Which episode did you watch? That one sounds funny!
  9. And watching you is Corey Haim....oh wait, that wouldn't work anymore....
  10. Lol at macroblocking on SVHS!
  11. Should we start taking bets on whether or not HG will import some copies of Ultimate Frontier? Or will they just find a game company that can badly rip it off???
  12. It's not Johnny Cage unless he does the nuts punch, I cry foul!
  13. Nor does that even mean there's a robotech game in developement. As per usual Yune rhetoric, he uses the abscence of evidence to promote truth.
  14. Because he wrote himself into a whole by destroying his entire earth/space/ fleet, main space station, losing his source of superfuel in a blackhole (and only character his fanbase cares about), and lost any real hope for including a newly designed fighter. What could there possibly be left to write a series about? One lone ship fleeing the Cylon tryany?
  15. Dude, Nicholas D. Wolfood's turd wouldn't go see this movie!
  16. Gainax's current splash page image.
  17. To be fiar, the cycle between the first & second films had a lot to do with the actual setting up of the new animation studio, hiring staff, etc. It's feasable to hope that the release gap between movies will shrink a bit as everyone involved gets more comfortable in their roles. At least that's my hope Same goes for the licensing actually, I think a lot of what had to do with 1.0/1.01/1.11 being licensed was the weak state of the anime industry in the last few years, things do seem to be picking up a bit, and licenses are starting to pick back up.
  18. In order to be good, this film will have to be more Adventures of Brisco County Jr, and less Wild Wild West.
  19. To be fair, until hearing about the movie, I thought that actually had something to do with Batman
  20. As it turned out, 9 out of 10 robotech fans were dissapointed the rest wasn't Macross anyway, so that wouldn't have made much of a difference.
  21. He started up an entirely new animation studio to helm it.
  22. I just wish someone would re-license and give us decent masters for End of Evangelion.
  23. And damnit, where's our Ulysses 31 box set/remake!
  24. Except that meshing the shows together s they did was still a blatant choice. They could have just as easily done a "Robotech" banner of anthology shows, i.e. running all of the shows in a "robotech" block of programming, but maintaining their individuality. This would have been a much smarter, and more cost efficient move. As one show ends, they'd be free to license and place another show of similar ilk, with minimal work involved. As opposed to trying to create their own garbage to follow it (i'm looking at you sentinels!!).
