I don't think anyone here isn't saying we won't give the game a fair chance, we're just saying that we're ready to call it (Ace) Combat of Duty.

Pretty sure it was bannished to super late night saturday night syndication for it's whole run.

Did anyone actually like sim mode? I tried it, but really couldn't get into it. Besides, the default mode gives you all the cool action poses, like using the battroid legs to brake.

To be fair, if you got by "The Shadow Chronicles," then apparently "scott & ariel" were the only characters through out the whole "new generation."

Repost: I like the idea of interactive exploding scenery, but if that's indeed burnout style slow-mo enemy explosions, then I hope you can turn that sh!t off. I don't want to wait for sh!t to explode and slow down my action damnit!! Also, hopefully those tailgunning sections will be minimal, or some kind of multiplayer only option.

Found it, I was actually referring to "Space Precinct", but somehow got the title mixed up with a lego toy line...

Except the PSP game handles more dynamically than the PS2 game, which allows for quicker more fast paced action.

If we're going to bring up TV show's, then I nominate the TV version of Logan's Run, and "Space Police."

Honestly, I've been progressively picking up the series, and really, if you've seen it once fansubbed, it's not very hard at all to follow, and it looks so damned good on bluray, it's almost a shame to pass up. Although secretly, I'm picking up the series to trick the universe into releasing in the U.S. You know, "ah damn, the show just got licensed, and right after I finished picking up the R2 disc's!l" one of the few times I wouldn't mind double dipping into a series.

I actually think that's an intentional homage, especially given Anno's Macross roots.

More likely, it was just a bad habbit of his to take credit for things he didn't make. I seem to recall his seperate commentary track on Heavy Metal, where he basically takes credit for making that too.

The upside is that both Japan & the U.S. are in the same region, A, so it's a non issue. I actually own most of Frontier on bluray already, and all work fine on a U.S. PS3.

Given the list price is the standard bluray movie list price, I doubt they'll have a bluray version without the "hybrid pack," which in general seems to be a lot of big deal for nothing. It'd be like calling District 9 a hybrid pack because it came with a GoW3 demo. Fullmetal Panic: I enjoy the series, but sometimes it seems to me that it's really just an attempt to repackage Hero Yui from Gundam Wing in his own show. It works, especially the comedy bits, but even the Lambda drive seems very Zero system-ey BGC 2040: If they hadn't ruined the Hardsuits later in the series, I probably would have liked it more. But all in all, if you want to watch a better animated BGC, I'd rather go for Burst Angel. Also not a great show, but more fun than 2040.
