I'm still trying to rationalise how this is going to work. PS3 games come on blurays, which average between 25-50 gigs. If the NGP were to play the same/comparable games, it'd have to have a huge amount of internal memory (in the 100's of gigs/terrabyte range). A solid state drive is too big and unreliable to fit in that thing. Flash memory is far too expensive to implement at those capacities. That would mean you'd either have to download & play games in chunks (weak). Or stream them online while playing, which limits portability. Unless of course you pop for the 3G connection, which would mean you're constantly paying to play games. I don't like the way things are going with this system. PSP FOREVER!

Oh I know there's no more movie, but when there was, the movie's CG dark lanky designs were aweful.

Cheetara with cleavage & goth girl makeup ftw. I was expecting so much worse from the "thundercats movie" promo designs. The only thing that scares me here, is "Batman The Brave & The Bold" being mentioned in the same press release.

And that in general is a funamental difference. Many/most Macross fans are "anime" fans. We watch other things when there is no Macross. Most Robotech fans tend not to give two shakes about anime in general, and I have no idea what they do, aside from reading bad robotech novels & comic books. Anime in general seems to confuse and scare them, so of course they're going to hover around robotech as the best thing since burnt toast. How they can stll stomach that dialogue as adults though, that's a total mystery.

Unfortunately, I can already tell you it doesn't. Gundam Assault Survive had a little grid map in the upper corner showing all the play area's in the stage, and an ally/enemy saturation there. None of the screen shots of MTF have had anything like that. The upside of course, if the dev teams have split off to do both series, then Macross has the superior programmers. As for the 3DS, I hope it never gets an artdink Macross game, since the system is region locked it'll do us absolutely no good.

I actually ordered the cd & totally forgot about it, so it's already on the way. Besides, full song is up on youtube already, and it's appropriately epic.

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v3.0

Z With that said, yeah, ZZ initially feels like Scirroco sealed Tomino's mind, but things quickly balance back out into awesomeness. Well, 10-12 episodes in at least. As for the Eureka Seven movie, go for it. Yeah it recycles some stuff, but it's a great alternate take on the story. -
This isn't even a question, wait for MTF. How could you not want this intro song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmwCPW4BEcY

Maybe Wonder Woman could be a single mom trying to raiser a daughter in high school, while balancing work & crimefighting. Dead beat dad Superman would be off flying around the world instead of paying child support. And daughter A-Ko could get into crazy adventure's fighting with her classmate B-Ko over the most obnoxous being in the universe.

Bah, and I thought I found that first. Oh well, it was still awesome! Anyone pick up the new Frontier single? Since the Triangle trailer, I can't get enough of "Get It On."

Damn, I don't follow comics, but I do read it at work (for free, which I'm sure has something to do with them going under), and it was a decent mag.

OMG, look at the new Mikimoto character art under the system section (very last tab under the 3rd tab). Does this have something to do with the customazation of player characters?

The last mission is actually pretty easy. Like I said, choose Luca, put him in Klan Klan's VF-25S, and use the armored pack. For most of the mission, make sure you have the single lock missiles equipped, and keep boosting in fighter while taking out the cannon fodder VF-25's oen by one (again, use the single lock missiles). Since you've chosen Luca, your first ace will be Klan Klan (charge & missile spam her), Michel (SP attack him since you don't want to get caught in his SP attack), Alto (if you have 2 full SP attacks, then go at him, otherwise missiel spam him), and Ozma (SP attack, then run since he'll retalliate, then finish him-off with whatever your best leftover attack is, be it a second SP, missiles, or if you're feeling brave, go at him in battroid with the gunpod). You should make it through with your armor intact, and get the SS. Now the mission before that, the Vajra onslought one, that I can't seem to SS rank no matter what I try. One time I even froze the game trying to multi-lock, gunpod, SP, & quick target switch through the whole thing. Though that may be beccause I was also using the custom soundtrack option.

The only difference is the "best" logo, & pricetag. Wait for Triangle, and while you're doing that, buy yourself a PSP 3000, it's well worth it.
-
Protip: If you choose Luca as your character, he won't be in the mission, and his ghost's can't spam you!

The more I think about it, the more I like the casting choice. Give her a short cute haircut and some dark eyeliner, and make her a witty playful suedo partner/suedo stab you in the back thief during the movie, and she could work quite well. Personality wise, I think Einjar is on the right track. Make her like the Catwoman in the first couple seasons of Batman TAS, and she'd work quite well.

Looks like someone also snuck out some cellphone video of that shoot. Here's the new suit in motion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsZ9qFofOwo&playnext=1&list=PLF67AD599D7E1B64E&index=17 -
No need for a live action version, just splice the pre-rotoscoped footage back together..

That's Zor's lost battle armor, possessed by the AI spirit of Zor's black box run on Protoculture, using "The Super Secret Stealth Shadow Technology Zero System," which allows its pilot to forsee any potential action on the battiefield.
