Except in that case, Kamina was never the one with the "ability" it was always Simon. It occurs to me though, I don't think I've once seen you guys bitch about Gundam, specifically Zeta & onwards. "Newtypes are magic, the Zeta has power ranger psycomu attacks," etc.

I don't think it's a good idea for anyone (aside from Nintendo) releasing a new home console right now. The world's economy is in the crapper, unemployment is rampant all over the place. Both Sony & Microsoft would be smart to hang out another 2 years before releasing new hardware. Nintendo on the other hand released an underpowered system intentionally, whether or not people will jump on the wii-u (read wii that should have been released in the first place) i anyone's guess.

Trying to get EA Games to consider a Robotech/macross first/third pers

I actually liked the story, and the worst offender (acting wise) was defintely Cuba, which is odd since he was good in The Tuskeegee Airmen. As for historical accuracy, who watches movies for that?

Welcome to over a decade ago. Macross has been in Super Robot Wars since Alpha.

Worse than Pearl Harbor? Hardly. And while a lot of the dialogue "was" bad, everything concerning Black Jesus was hilarious.
-
Did anyone else go to see it? While the acting is about what you'd expect from a Lucas movie, it was still pretty enjoyable, and the dogfight scenes were definately pretty. A nice action counterpart to the more serious/less acitony Tuskeegee Airmen.

You know, this should have been obvious to me from the start, but it really just hit me. The Vita Macross & Gundam games "should" have dedicated servers, making them way easier for all of us to play online (i.e. no adhoc party required)!

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0

How quickly you guys forgot Gurren Lagann & Haruhi Suzumiya, for shame. -
Hard to tell if they'll have enough time to stick all of the existing content in. But if they have, the obvious additions should be a full Macross ii & Sayonara no Tsubasa campaign. The thing about these games is that they've always been "existing" story related, so I wouldn't expect original content. Macross The Ride original models would be cool though.

I'm just hoping this game has "everything." Windam's, Wartfield's orange Gaia, Murasame's, that Zackarello lookin' mobile armor, Stargazer, Strike Noire, Buster Verde, Forbidden Blue, Dom Trooper's, Lunamaria's Gunner Zaku Warrior, Hein's Gouf Ignited, EVERYTHING! But we'll see.

You own a PS3, HD TV, and I assume have it hooked up through HDMI cables. There's no further reason for your ancient technology denial. Nope, not the same source, but the disc's look great regardless. -

I'm not even remotely surprised by that. Even I cried manly tears at the end of that particular story arc. Now if they'd hurry up with After Story's bluray release... -

I just ran through a mini Gundam-thon. Watched all of 00 for the first time, followed by 0079 for the 3rd, Zeta movies (absolute total ruination of the series btw), and F91 on bluray (BEAUTIFUL ON BLU!!) Aside from the normal gripes, I really liked 00, it incorporated a lot without feeling too much like a retreat. Casting Amuro as Ribbons was also delightful! Next up, probably the Dirty Pair OVA remasters, then...Star Driver! -
Sure, buy a PS3, go to the PSN Video store, pay to rent it, win! or Find a copy of the ep 4 bluray, buy it, pop it in bluray player, win! or Buy the second DVD, pop it in a dvd player, win!

Nah, power ranger mecha was more akin to Zoids.

This is just a guess from those pictures of the hud, but it actually looks like they're using the Macross version of the engine for this.
