I’m not worry about the missile set . Is it even Tamashii exclusive? if we go by history then Bandai will initially release a set of missiles for each coming Valk they make. And maybe if the 1/48 missiles did well for this release , all the follow up vf-1 with include the missiles similar to what happen to the later vf-31 release.

I think you are comparing price on something that’s not at the same scale along with what difference they offer. one is 1/48 and the other is 1/60. missiles aside , the Bandai 1/48 have many accessories. They even have posable fingers/hands and extra hands . https://sp.tamashii.jp/item/12634/ as for missiles , you can’t just look at vf-1 , the many dx chogokins don’t include missiles either . bandais tampoing May be off here and there but they practically give it for free , there’s also the option of removing what you don’t like or painting the landing gears . Looking at at what’s out now , 18000 yen is a excellent price for what it offers . missiles at 1/48 is also bigger than 1/60 so I don’t see it lower that 4000 yen . 22000 yen for the newest vf-1 at 1/48 scale is still an excellent price . What price should they sell it at if you think it’s too much ? Ops , forgot about the display stands that Bandai includes.

100% this.. always PW first with HLJ. like what Jenius said, leave it in your PW untill the VF-1 gets release and then ship them together for the combine shipping discount. HLJ is one of the few stores that give very good combine shipping discount. I brought the SDF-1 PF also along with the RIOBOT NERV vs. Godzilla Anti-G Weapon Shiryu Prototype Unit 01 The combine shipping price is 5920 for ems. You can even play around with the estimate for items you havent brought yet. I place a 1/3000 sdf-1 and add in a (big and Heavy) soul of chogokin figure and the shipping comes to around 7770 yen for ems.

BIJ should be good, when I use them , they have always delivered. The dash option set lasted a long time so you should be good, the Gun-barrel Striker had a limited 2 per account restriction which sucks.

The price is not that bad. Even if you add in the 4000 yen for the missiles , the total is still cheaper than a Arcadia premium finish vf-1 at 1/60.

I thing is, the price it launched or preordered doesn't matter anymore since you already missed that. (its highers than $220 shipped) What you are looking at is the current going rate. was your around $280 SHIPPED? or before shipping since that will offset around $40. If its shipped then its a good price.

The price is adjusted base on estimate demand. De-active versions were never high demand even for official items. But I like the price. will plan to get both.

The estimate weight on this hi metal r seems heavier than the norm . More weight /higher shipping cost . if you order 2 at cdjapan , you will need to use ems too. No sal small packet option for 2.
