Yeah , I went with 2 proxy’s this time just incase one fail on me as it does happen on high demand items like metal builds. One win , one fail . So all is good . also p Bandai will probably have some kind of update on that sold out item page sometimes in the next couple of days since it was over the weekend. Should both of my proxy failed , I would’ve jump on Biginjapan and n-y, or a-E. That way I will be cover if either over sold . But Biginjapan have always been a sure win for me . And if I were to get a couple from n-y I would ship each individually since they don’t offer much saving on combine orders and should the package gets lost , I will not lose everything unless all separated packages gets lost , lol .

Well, I’m sure they planned ahead since it can be used for 4 different valks, so maybe they make 4 x the amount as their vf-1s numbers . Na............... this is Bandai , they probably decided to make just around the same number as their vf-1s. Their reasoning will be switchable skull marking , you can save money by sharing 1 super with all your valks.

when you factor in the needed domestic shipping from TWE, then 9200 yen from N-Y is below price compare if you were to get 1 from twe directly 8800 yen + 648 yen (domestic shipping from TWE to NY) = 9448 yen each but we all know N-Y buys in bulk which is 6 per order this time, so 8800x6= 52800 + 648 shipping = 53448 / 6 = 8908 yen each that N-Y paids. They earn a little, you saved a little, everyone should be happy..................

Biginjapan is now SOLD OUT of the Super Parts Set . I would consider that good news for those that preorder from them. they did not have a unlimited amount like some other store.

You can try Biginjapan , they always delivered for me and they normally close their twe preorders much earlier than N-Y. That is a sign that they only sell what they can already get . As for how many , 3 seems like a good number . But that’s just me . Preorder night is like an events , maybe even a tournament, lol . So with that comes practice, failure , experience , etc. its not easy but it’s not impossible either .

some advantages of proxy stores ( n-y, a-e, bij, mykombini, ni-ni-games, etc) Price = if you order just 1 item, it will normally cost more using a Proxy due to fee and domestic shipping, Customs = Many proxies will not lower your declare value , while n-y and other Proxy stores will do that , which can save you paying extra in import fees Availability = Proxy can only order for you if the item is still still available, once it's sold out , there's nothing else they can do other than refunding your money since they are buying it on your behalf , but a proxy store buys the item ahead of time base on what they think the demand is. example : lets say N-Y was able to preorders 360 pieces of the super parts from bandai. Even if p-bandai is sold out, N-Y will still be able to sell from their stock of 360 that they already secured. Timing and Cost = Proxy will require full cost upfront, , some proxy stores, example: mykombini will allow 50% deposit . There are some that just don't have extra money yet at the time of preorder window open.

It sold very slowly, lasted months and then a big burst of orders which ended the preorder just weeks before the official cut off dead .

Normally option parts have a higher per account order but I guess this time it’s down to 6 per account. The missiles were like 24 per account. Similar to TWE MB Gundams , the first batch can be sold out in hours , but it normally follow up with a announcement of a 2nd batch within a couple of days , and if that still gets sold out fast , they will even announce a 3rd batch .

They do have a shipping calculator, for items that's out just scroll down and you will see it, you can get the Packed Weight from items detail and enter that weight, choose country then click view shipping cost For items that's not out, they wont have item weight or packed weight so you will need to make a good guess . enter that est weight, choose country then click view shipping cost I would say a good guess for weight of the Packed weight with shipping box for 1 super is 1000g Here are the est prices, and please add 410 yen on SAL small packed and Air for tracking

Iirc , play-Asia is not well known for delivering on Macross preorders . Did anyone here received their preorder of the dx vf-1j? They fail to fulfill my Macross frontier preorder back then. @canklebreaker Getting a preorder for someone you do not know can get very complicated, there are many factors to considered , reputation, money , availability time of the item along with possible multiple preorders if somehow 2 guys placed the preorder for you. Are ready to pay for booth? . Did you plan out how you are going to pay them ? . Are you giving them your account and password so they can order and pay under you ? Then theres also the time when the preorder is posted in the middle of the night when many are sleeping. What I’m saying is , it’s not that no one give a crap , it’s just complicated unless you have all those thing planned out and worked out and agreed opon. The link itself is a big help already.

The plan fee is charge later along with the international shipping, “charge 2” . “Charge 1”is only the cost of the item . You simulation example is for amazon which is the basic 300 plan but on the 3rd sentence it says “ 0 yen for items from Amazon, Rakuten Ichiba, and ZOZOTOWN” yes theres a plan fee and domestic shipping for tamashii p Bandai orders . i used Fromjapan for Twe and auctions

You can also do a search on google “Fromjapan fees”. http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/sp/notice/en/ there’s 2 plans 300 yen plan is just straight forwarding, they will order for you , it does not cover if the items gets to them defective , lost in transit , missing pieces , seller ships you a bootleg , etc , pretty much they “help you order and when it gets to their warehouse they will then ship it out “ 700 yen plan is their full coverage plan , they will check with seller , item will be quickly inspected (not open) , will help with possible replacement or full refund if damage, it will also cover insurance on international shipping but you will need to pick one that will doo full coverage like fedex or ems. 680 yen for domestic shipping for p-Bandai 200 yen payment fee will be added if you are not paying with creditcard. And then what ever international shipping service you choose. so if you just want 1 super with full coverage, it will be 8800 for the item 700 for the plan 680 for the domestic shipping 200 for the payment fee = 10380 yen for the item before international shipping cost .

That will depend on the proxy and the person at the proxy that is handling your request. Sometime they will be right on it, and sometimes they do it hours later, or even when they come back to work the next day. Just be sure to make the request and the payment before the preorder start time and hope for the best. You will get the refund notice email if they can't get it for you within a 16 hours
