No one is talking about the subbed Gunbuster 2 2nd episode OAV yet? I actually liked it - a bit more character development, explains some odd things in episode 1, and threw me for a loop with one revealed tidbit. don't want to put spoilers here, i'll wait till you all get the DL from the usual places.

there is definitely a wealth of dogfights waiting in that first battle on Macross Island. (South Atilia? something like that) for a second project sidestory battle, might i suggest the POV of a destroid waiting in the Dedalus, for Misa's command to unleash the Dedalus' missle attack after ramming it into an enemy spacecraft? that last shot of tons of different types of destroids barraging a poor Zent ship with all those curly-q missiles - that would be quite a animation to-do!
