I was on order for something else, but I was first to call dibs on a dragon.

how about getting a matchbox one, and maybe Rohby could also recast parts of the takatoku so you could convert yours from a matchbox to a takatoku type and launch planes!

Thanks mr. and mrs. Monkey. watching the people go by...haha quote from Robotech I thinks. someone should go over to Tanmen's place and teach him about ethics.

If you're like most of us on this board, you'll probably end up buying at least one of each scale from each manufacturer. If you're like xstoys, you'll end up buying at least one of EVERYTHING, from each manufacturer of each edition release of each variant from the box having a maroon lineinstead of a red line to a change in the stickersheet because the copyright date has changed. But I digress. I think they most of the toys out there have some merit. The MPC...I like their boxes. The 1/55s...nostalgia and strength of play. The 1/60...well I don't really like the 1/60 much anymore. The 1/48 is like the 1/60 on roids. And bigger is better. Funny thing is I've only got 1 1/48, so I got the Low Vis. And I've been practically giving away my 1/60s. Bobepatt will confirm this.

Yup...I'll be seein your gf at my place after this...

I can't believe I sent MyersJesse a message asking whether I should send him the money before I went on my vacation, in case the models arrived while I was gone...this was back in the first week of June. What a JOKE!

still no new news eh? That's not promising...

I don't mean to sound too sarcastic, but isn't that a blinding flash of the obvious? The friend. Not Reba West. Sigh. . . uhmm...thanks. oopsie I didn't get to this page in time to not post my first reply.

I don't mean to sound too sarcastic, but isn't that a blinding flash of the obvious? I'm talking about my friend...she worked with both of them on the power rangers show...I think
-
Reba West isn't even her real name. It's just her stage name. My friend used to work with her, and she once left a message on my voice mail. She also used to work with the voice of Rick Hunter. And until just a few weeks ago, she was working with the guy who was the voice of Daniel in Transformers.

that's because it is overpriced and the detail and size aren't worth spending this kind of money...at least that is my humble opinion

Not only do I think the prices are too high for toys these days, but I also don't think they are worth it. I find myself losing interest in these toys, so I think the prices are even more outrageous.
-
is that it? I could'a sworn I saw a lot more than that at your place! maybe more...I can't keep track these days...I think I've lost the love for toys...

I guess I must have been spoiled. my first valk was a 1/55 Takatoku VF-1J.

Hey, I represent that remark. Since when is it illegal for a married guy to go to a strip joint? I've been married almost (9) years, and I haven't stop going...just as long as my old lady never finds out. After all, it's all right to look, just don't touch. Spearmint Rhino is weak, never messed with the joint because it's a so called topless only "Gentlemen's Club." Bah, that's weak, if your going to go to a strip club, go to a strip club, not some watered down version. I want to see the entire package, and who cares if you can't drink alcohol because it's full nudity. If you going to a strip club to get drunk, you're wasting your time and dulling your senses. The drinks are too expensive and not enough liquor. Two words: Deja Vu That place rocks! All right, we're off topic and I'm not helping. Rob's a good guy, and does a lot for MW. So he should get to go to one of those places in Japan that has suishi and even provides a girl to serve it to you. That way you get raw fish with your unbearded clam. Sincerely, Christopher Spearmint Rhino isn't topless. It's fully nude. I speak from experience. And the ones I've been to...you get to touch....you even get touched. hahahaha

Hi all, I'm finally starting my tanmen racer...using what someone had suggested earlier, I took an exacto knife and I split the main unit in two pieces. But in doing so, I put a lot of wear onto the model. There are scratches everywhere, some really deep. Unfortunately, I am very unskilled in the ways of the modeller. I think I'm supposed to use mr. surfacer to get ride of the scratches, right? So my question is, does mr. surfacer need to go on top of primer? or does primer go on top of the surfacer? right now I have some primer on the model because I was trying to paint it without taking it apart. that didn't really work out. And what do you use to get primer off? can I just wash it off with soap? After I take care of the surfacing, I will do some more reading on how to get the seam lines to come out...but one thing at a time...
-
maybe you get a free qrau, and then you can keep this one for a diorama

WOW SUPER JOBS! Hey do you have any tips on buildup? I have a fan racer, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to paint in the area around the fan. there's not a whole lot of space. Please share! The one thing that people have suggested and I'm now becoming very tempted to do, is to take it apart and paint them individually and then put it back together. But that would require some major surgery. Also, what kind of paints did you use and what did you do for the panel lines? Sorry for all the questions...
-
Did anybody else see that? This isn't a good thing... So I guess that does mean Macross = Robotech. hahahahahaha

I think that section is intended for straight up product info, not modelers' buildups. I suggest posting Wm's work in the MWAT section... http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/mwat/_mwat_menu.htm nah...it's not appropriate to mix wm's work with other rif raff. He should have his own section called WM Models
