I would also suggest getting a 1/48, but choose one based on your budget. I'd recommend a Max, Roy or Hikaru reissue. The second and third releases tend to be cheaper IMO. You might even find one listed here on MW used, which is every bit as good provided the seller on MW has a good history. Good luck and welcome.

But serious back on topic, IMO Roys death in DYRL was heroic and saddening, likewise in the tv series. He lived life to the fullest and IMO I think if I was him I wouldn't have any regrets. He died with the woman he loved in the tv series.

Hm, G that is somewhat true about how other environmental factors can and do contribute to detoriation. I know for cels though it is important for the cel itself to be protected if displayed with a UV coated glass. But even with it, you need to keep it in a cool dry place, away from smoke, moisture, heat, cold, dust, kids. Now G, where are the rest of your cabinets or shelves with all the 1/48s? That should be quite a sight!

That's DANGAIOH from the Dangaioh OVAs by Toshihiro Hirano! Great series, love the mecha and character designs... one of the best IMO.

Well regardless of what Yamato is intending, I just hope they don't give up on releasing more 1/48s and possibly expanding into more for M Zero. Hope springs eternal.

Ooooohhhh decisions, decisions Buy both and the problem is solved.

There were two OVA series, one that came before the TV series and another that reinterpreted the TV series. Both are great IMO and after watching both and the TV series you get a greater understanding of the characters and their plight. When you finally work up to watching the first and then the second movies, it all comes together nicely! I love Patlabor, fantastic voice acting, character development, humor, and stories that really were ahead of its time. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves good dramas, humor, cop shows and chess.
