DId the film focus on this detective skills at all? His deductive abilities is near unequaled in the DCU. I certainly hope they empasized his incredible cerebral skills in addition to the physical.

I actually enjoyed the music from Macross II. However, the plot and character development left me feeling Unsatisfied and empty. The mecha was ok, but there simply weren’t enough battles for me to appreciate the enemy designs or the newer VF. After the first few OVAs I didn’t empathize with any of the characters and only liked Ishtar since she was nice eye candy and slightly interesting. She looked better IMO in long hair but whatever. The entire love triangle, boring and the use of the commander was wrong , it just seemed uncreative and weak. As many people are probably aware by now Mikimoto was adamantly against participating on this project. However, he was pressured into it and well, the passion and quality of his work or lack thereof, shows in his character designs.

Yes, it's part of the tools used in one style that Wayne mastered parts of to create his own fighting style. Bale said in an interview, "it's part of the fighting style called Keysi... It's a very brutal fighting style and it fits really well with the batsuit, and particularly with the ears and everything, just the way it goes. And it's very savage, very fierce, and I had to learn that. We have a lot of different fight sequences. I did learn every single fight sequence that's in the movie." Sidenote, I really hope they keep the romance to a min. Lets hope we get into Bruce's mind and his keen detective skills, that IS what he considers himself, first and foremost. The worlds BEST detective. We know for this film to expect martial arts emphasis w/the training and possibly overkill against regular goons, but again Ra's it should be nice. Since he is a metahuman. Lastly, I hope the next film will include Lady Shiva "the worlds DEADLIEST barehanded fighter in the DCU".

I completely agree. Maul should've won against Obi, or at least lose and arm or something, but Lucas fracked that up! And yes, he should've hired Ray as the fight choreographer, but you know that would've made far too much sense. Plenty of fans wanted to see Maul v. Vader, but it never happened on screen just in the comics. Still voted for the Vader v. Luke (ESB) battle that IMO had excellent pacing, suspense and display of the Force v. Dark Side. It wasn't just a hack and slash, which I do enjoy but at the end, Vader dropped the bomb on Luke. Excellent.

I'm sure the modeller's next sculpt will be incredible though. Don't knock until you've tried it, I did and I loved it! You don't even miss tv and other things we place so much importance on.

Indeed! That is what is making me wondering whether or not Yamato really would reissue the LV or the Super 1Js. Obviously they are a business trying to make money, I wouldn't be surprised if they did reissue most of them sooner or later and w/the LV slight modifications. But honestly who knows, what is going on inside Yamato HQ?
